Hunter Haug Smithson Valley Safety/Wr Tech Commit

hey mods why aren’t we recruiting this kid.  he has been a game changer as a safety, WR and returner for Smithson Valley for 2 years.  Tech is getting a great one.

i get it, but the kid is down the road we need another safety and he is playmaker at safety wr and kick and punt returns.  had 3 defensive tds and. receiving td in the first half

White safeties have to come in as walk-ons, and it's still too early for WR with fresh Livingstone PTSD.

Fun team to watch with Ty at QB, Hunter, Noah and Caleb. Loaded team with a lot of underclassmen.

He will do great wherever he ends up, kids a baller. I’ve seen him the last 3 years during SV’s title runs. Offensive MVP in last year’s State Championship game and on defense lined up against the Frisco WR that ended up at Florida and made him a non factor. Hope he gets a look.

Grudge by surname is a new level of recruiting pettiness lol, kid's already committed to Tech anyway so it's kinda moot.

Hunter's a beast for them. I watch most of Smithson Valley's games, kid is always making plays. Coach Hill always does a great job coaching the kids up. I remember the game against Lake Travis in 2016 when Lake Travis was lighting every one up after game 2 and Smithson Valley was taking it to them for a large chunk of that game.

Don’t sleep on the Sophomore Schaeden Davis. Kids a beast. Offers from Tech, Louisville, Arizona & UTSA. Headed to TCU in two weeks for a UV and a game. Played on SV varsity as a freshman. Was also the first leg of the 4 x 100 that went to state with Haug & Johnson. It’s early but he’s managing to find attention surrounded by talent at SV.

Huag has legit measurables.  Think he has the chance to be a nfl player.  I know we are picky with offers but he can play at UT.  
 

at 6’2 195 he recorded some very good track times as a jr and his production on the field is outstanding.

understood the kid for sure is a senior riser and heard that ATM had picked up communication along with a few others SEC schools

I read somewhere that Cade Haug decommitted from Texas because of his cousin’s NIL offer from Tech and Cade went in search of his own payday.  Seems that Texas isn’t throwing money at the Haugs.

Well, then him picking Tech is understandable. The, "not every kid wants to play at Texas" narrative doesn't apply. He didn't reject Texas for Tech.

Tech being the early spot for him makes the whole thing a lot less mysterious. Recruitment boards love turning every non-UT commit into a statement.
