Overlooked Issue

Against UTSA, the center was snapping the ball high on several occasions.  If the ball is not where it is supposed to be, if often throws off the timing of the play.

I hope that is not a problem on Saturday

I’m going to go back and watch.  If Arch was trying to avoid fumbling snaps, could very well explain timing issues.

I noticed this as well, there was also the low snap to begin the second half. As a QB when you are focused on where the ball is going to go it can take your concentration off of the defense even if just for a short time and then he is playing catch up trying to read the defense a second late.

Robertson acknowledged the snaps on Monday, saying he has been working to improve the consistency. But you are absolutely correct,could definitely be a detractor for Manning when on the road.

There were also some wetball throws from Arch on Saturday night, too.

There were poor snaps, but there was also staring down routes and not working through progressions.

Robertson had a tough night snapping for sure. That and UTSA blitzing up the middle on him made for a long night in the middle.
