Brock Williams - TE Commit

I finally got around to seeing his Hudl video.  He catches passes, runs the ball and even has two kick returns for TDs this year.  He is 6'5" and his play reminds me of a vanilla Ja'Tavion Sanders.

I have no idea what the competition level is in Illinois, but the kid seems to be a baller.

He's the most fluid and the smoothest mover of all the guys they've signed at TE. He's almost like a big receiver with the way he moves. He's a pass catching TE who will be able line up anywhere but is also big enough and willing enough to be the primary TE in the offense. Needs to add weight and physically develop though so the winter and spring will be really big for him

Not Hank, but all the TEs on the room can come back next year which will make it pretty difficult. Masunas technically runs out of eligibility but he should be able to get a waiver for a 6th year since he did a regular redshirt year then got hurt 4 games into his redshirt sophomore year.

And if Williams does have a path, a lot of that could depend on how much weight he can add in the winter and spring. He's 6-5, 225-230ish and has frame space to put on 15-20 more pounds. By the time he's done at Texas he should be at least 245.

I watched him play against my son’s HS last season. His frame potential is closer to LJH than to a TE.

He could be a lethal red-zone slot-fade guy.

Not Hank, but it takes 5 years for a right end to learn Sarks offense, so probably not.
