Oh, that's right because Riley was only here in '21 and left that off-season. Thanks for the correction. It won't let me edit the post, unfortunately. Edited 14 hours ago by AusMOJO 3 Quote

When do we bench Arch? What if we let KJ take the reins? Arch isn’t ready to move on to the NFL, and KJ can’t sit another year. What if KJ could show his mettle now with the offensive talent, and Arch continues to learn his craft and compete with Dia next year. Not going to happen The most popular player at Texas is always the backup QB Quote
watty7796 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Honest questions? Is Sarks scheme just to complicated for the college game? Less experienced players, reduced time to learn as Sark has both offensive coordinator and head coaching duties? Does the finesse style Texas plays offense have long enough legs to continually compete in a line of scrimmage conference?? Should there be more emphasis on power running schemes and less window dressing? We are just about to the middle of the season...has this offense regressed over the past 2 seasons? If so...what neess to be done to put the train back on the track?? Is this defense special teams and offense complimentary to each other??? Quote
cmk4pres Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Much improved OL play...WRONG sark an offensive guru... WRONG Arch a Hesiman candidate... WRONG Arch 1st overall pick.... WRONG We will be more disciplined... WRONG Oh there is more 1 Quote

The penalties, stalled drives, and offensive inconsistency are unacceptable for a team with this much talent and experience. Simplify the offense, establish the run, and give up play calling. When the same problems keep showing up, it’s a coaching problem. Elite head coaches delegate and adapt. Sark has repeatedly shown he’s unwilling to do either. Unfortunately, Texas is paying the price. Edited 6 hours ago by TexasLonghorns 1 Quote

Bad playcalling. Recurring. Poor offensive line play. Recurring. Accountability. Special Teams both players and coaches. Same players making same or similar mistakes on every part of the team. Offense Defense and Special Teams. Our best players and leaders cant make silly mistakes and blow it off. Simmons last week PF kept drive alive, jumped offsides tonight. Biles PF on an interception allowing drive to continue and give up points. Arch handing out game balls to the gooners gift wrapped. Here is the one that really bothers me. The last 2 QBs at Texas were both 5 star athletes and ranked 1 in their respective class. With the time that both had on the 40 would anyone say that they were developed to the expected level? Same issue with OL specifically Guards and Center. The good is that atleast WRs and DL are where they should be or ahead. QB facts… 1 Quote

Or we're just bad at teaching it in practice. But in any case the single biggest problem is the players don't consistently execute the plays. Hard to be physical if you aren't first 100% sure what you are supposed to be doing. Quote
Califashorn75 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Did anyone ask Arch why he made that stupid throw? Quote

Tough call there IMO I think CJ needed a change of scenery, and he wasn't healthy enough last year. I'm a huge fan of CJ Baxter. Hope he makes it to the NFL and sets up his life. Great dude. Real leader as you alluded to. 1 Quote
