Well, he worked to bring back a center we already knew couldn't physically compete in this conference, and also neglected to bring in a safety despite the massive void in that room. Brought in two RBs that are moreso boutique offspeed type runners than between the tackles punishers, the biggest need in that room. IOL haul was really underwhelming and mostly just hopes and prayers. Rasheem Biles just way too small for a full SEC season, but he's hanging in there I guess. Not the best tackler because of his safety-esque size. I've been of the mind the portal season wasn't too hot compared to the player rankings or whatever. Some plain weird roster management going on imo. Had to do better on the OL than we did. 1 Quote

I’m so sick and tired of those whether in sports, business or politics that have a name carry them. The Manning name got him an interview. The Manning name labeled him as a high caliber recruit: Georgia, Bama, Texas. 5 star my ass. The Manning name bought him time to learn and to observe while getting paid. The Manning name got him his opportunity. Period. He has had his opportunity. He is not good. He is not Generational, he is not elite, he is not great and he is not really good. He is an average QB at best. I’m sick of tired of these names who get preferential treatment, when others like Lacey and Bell are busting their ass working just as hard but don’t get the chance because of their name versus a Manning name. Arch needs to be benched and benched immediately. If not, and he gets Booed, then don’t tell me to Boo him because he should not be playing. Arch should not be seeing the field but is because of his name. Tired of it! Sark, that is on you. One more time, for the people in the back 1 2 Quote

I'm not really sure what to expect with this team. It seems like the wheels have been unbolted and might come off at any moment or they'll get bolted back on and they'll keep this thing cruising. Who knows. It's definitely not an easy task and I don't get paid enough money to figure out. These are just my opinions on what I witnessed. 1 Quote
K. Baughman Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I respect your opinion and you may be right. However, I feel like the wheels are off and screaming down the road out of control. My reason for this opinion is a QB that is not good and coach that apparently does not know how to fix any of the current issues. Quote
4thandFive Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I’m really curious (could I say excited) to see if KJ Lacey could right this ship. The offense would hum if Arch had any pocket presence and accuracy. He’s just so bad right now we can’t evaluate it. I just hope Sark didn’t wait too long. 3 Quote
Beldar Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Collin Simmons appeared to possibly have a serious injury. Sure hope not, Any news there.? / Quote
K. Baughman Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Arch and Sark could learn a thing or two by watching Arbuckle and Midteer tonight. Sad state of affairs. I think Arkansas’s offense is more efficient tonight. SMDH 1 Quote

Why do we get 5 star players that never see the field and other programs have here 5 star players balling out. Copper, Bishop, and both Terrys only see couple plays a game. This are the kids that can change the game. But sark is a practice guru, some kids ball out when the lights are on versus practice heroes. Bishop has done nothing but ball in his chances. Quote

How did arch go from last year to this year and just get absolutely worse as each game goes on. Mf Jeff Traylor for giving everyone the playbook to destroy Texas offense. Damn that man. He coached me and my son in high school. I love the man but damn him. I honestly believe he would kill it if you gave him Texas longhorns resources. He would not lose any top recruits in East Texas. The respect he has in Texas high school football is next level. Yeah yeah I know he is not the splash hire. But that man bleeds burnt orange and has since he was a kid. 1 Quote

To throw, not 1 pass beyond the line of scrimmage - illegal forward pass - but, to then throw 2 passes in the next game which is something that does not occur at the high school level let alone at college…as a 4th year player by the way. WOW. Throws into double coverage constantly - how many pics - but, misses the wide open receiver over and over. Throws 2 pics while having the lead (OU) and then fumbles in the pocket (UF) with 3 time outs and struggles game in and game out, but other than that you’re right. As to the back seats. Nah! I did it from the front row on the field and whose son did it from the front row there afterwards. I would encourage you to move up from the cheap seats and to focus. Focus is important and to focus on details Little Carmine. A Critical thinking skill set is vital is in this scenario and conversation; especially to success in the long run. HOOK’em!!!! Let’s raise the bar and go win a Nattie! 1 Quote

TXFF Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I'll just leave this here for perspective. (Borrowed from a different thread) Here is the side-by-side comparison of their statistics through their first 19 career starts: Arch Manning · Record (Top 10 Opps): 16-3 (4-2) · Passing: 358/573 (62.4%), 4,633 yards, 41 TD, 11 INT (148.7 rating) · Rushing: 130 carries, 588 yards, 13 TD · Total Yards / Total TDs: 5,221 / 54 Colt McCoy · Record (Top 10 Opps): 14-5 (0-2) · Passing: 354/530 (66.8%), 4,148 yards, 39 TD, 17 INT (150.4 rating) · Rushing: 105 carries, 248 yards, 2 TD · Total Yards / Total TDs: 4,396 / 41 Vince Young · Record (Top 10 Opps): 16-3 (0-2) · Passing: 205/346 (59.2%), 2,593 yards, 16 TD, 17 INT (127.6 rating) · Rushing: 249 carries, 1,621 yards, 16 TD · Total Yards / Total TDs: 4,214 / 32 Quote
TexasOnTop Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Today was gross and there’s no arguing that. This offense also averaged the most YPP any team has against OUs defense all season. Bama scored 10 at Tennessee today. Indiana got held to 10 against tOSU. What I’m saying is that perspective in competition is needed. Texas should have thrown all over Florida today, but it didn’t. I think that’s partly an offensive issue, but also I think it’s an issue coming off the RRS. 2023 (a bad Houston team), 2024 (Georgia at home) and 2025 (Kentucky) were all disgusting offensive performances by Texas in their first game after the RRS. After cooling off, I’m holding off judgement until next weekend. Quote

It’s truly a dumbfounding situation that is shocking to admit is 100% true. It feels like overnight we’ve gone from back to back national semis to it being existential moment for Sark on his side of the ball. and unlike other dark offensive years — this is not a talent problem. which makes it more wild. DarkBoi72 Posted 4 minutes ago Posted 4 minutes ago @Jeff Howe @Gerry Hamilton Please tell me y'all have some inside information on a QB change. And I'm not hating on Arch. I was at the game today and most Texas fans around me didn't trust Arch when the offense came in the game. We knew nothing would happen when the offense came on the field. It was a horrible feeling. Side passes, and Arch throwing into double coverage is almost all we witnessed. The defense was gassed! I believe Sark benched Quinn when we needed a spark. If Sark stays with Arch, he may lose the team! That's all. Quote
