Ryan Clement Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 26 minutes ago, Jeff Howe said: It’s an offseason fix, IMO. I’d love to be wrong about that, but it’s getting worse. So im guessing the writing could be on the wall. If arch is benched and KJ takes over and performs better, which most of us are expecting, then we have probably seen the last of arch. Does sark make a move while we still have a chance or does arch play this week and we lose then he makes the change? Quote
Shmatt Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Is the OL a talent issue, or a coaching issue (lol) It seems to be systemic issue to me, to be honest I’ve never felt impressed with OL. They have always folded when it matters the most Quote
Ryan Clement Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I understand that sark is splitting reps between KJ and arch, is that doing an injustice to KJ? Arch has had 6 games and every practice to be the starter, if sark is considering putting KJ in shouldnt he be getting the majority of reps? Quote
Frank Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Getting way ahead of myself but does 9-3 get us in the playoffs ahead of a 10-2 Notre Dame? I still think if we get in we would have as good of a chance as anybody I haven’t seen a great team this year Quote

I think Wesley has flashed the most in limited snaps among the three Adding: I think a rotation with Zina starting probably keeps fresh legs on the field Still remember that hit Wesley put on Mateer on a pass rush up the middle. Nasty! 3 Quote
Chubbs2244 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago My Question is if Texas loses Saturday I have two options. 1. Leave my family and all my possessions behind to never be seen again. 2. Self loathing with 3 frozen pizzas and a liter of cola. please otf help 🤣 jk still love the horns! Thanks for all you guys do! 1 Quote
ThatHornsGuy87 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago What do you think happened to Arch to get his wires crossed so bad? That doesn't even look remotely close to the same guy from last year. Granted were talking about qb development at Texas which hasn't really been seen under Sark since hes been here Quote
pinkman_90 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) I for one won’t let the propaganda here try and convince me this is an Arch problem. It is a Sark problem. And has been for years. Bench Card! Bench Ewers! Bench Arch! (And soon to be) Bench Lacey! Bench Bell! I’m hoping by the bench Lacey part the last few supporters will be gone. Edited 1 hour ago by pinkman_90 Quote

I thought we were going to see second half 2025 Arch from the jump, I thought the run game would be better, and I certainly thought Texas would be better than 64th in the nation in scoring. Quote
HornyHorn Posted 49 minutes ago Posted 49 minutes ago One thing I’ve been feeling with arch recently is he needs to see the guy open. In other words, there isn’t much anticipation. And he relies on his rocket of an arm to fit the ball in. Then the problems come because by the time he sees it, so does the db, and he has to either throw a tough ball to catch to avoid an int, or we get all the turn-downs we’ve been seeing, and every problem comes downhill from there. Thoughts? Is that sort of thing fixable? If so, who is that on primarily? Quote

It’s been obvious we needed change at OL, TE, ST, QB coach. He shrugged off reality one too many times this season for me to have trust he can get it right. All of those coaches came with him from Bama. All need to go after this season. Quote

Also is there a way where Texas runs the table, gets into the SEC championship game but loses. Could they still make the playoffs as a three loss team? I know it’s a stretch for that to happen but this season has been crazy so far. The Holly Rowe incident has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with play on the field. 1 1 Quote

FGH080254 Posted 35 minutes ago Posted 35 minutes ago Has Sark ever developed a quarterback for the next level? He attracts the top high school quarterbacks but they never seem to take the next step. Is the issue a matter of player evaluation or player development at the college level. Is the Texas issue player evaluation or player development. I can think of many players in the past who didn’t develop. Intrinsic character or big fish small pond leveling. 1 Quote

He’s a micromanager and former QB. He wants his QBs to basically just be him. It’s not “here is what I see now trust my instincts and go play football” it is “here is what I see now what would Sark want me to do here?”. Quote

texcoyote15 Posted 22 minutes ago Posted 22 minutes ago Man I hope 1,000% I am wrong, but Sark’s success has been under Saban and Pete Carroll that had WAY better rosters than everyone else AND they ran everything from the top. Saban made every decision while he was at Bama or he blessed off on every single thing. Sark wasn’t a head coach long enough for us to know how he would be with the top job. We do know he’s a good recruiter. But we don’t know how he is as a manager or a player caller when stuff’s not working and you have to adjust. I think I know how this ends but dang I’m tired of getting coaches that can’t take us to the top. He’s made us better but I mean make us like a Georgia or a Saban Alabama. They ought to money whip Saban to come in and be General Manager/Assistant to the Head Coach or some title and let him run it. He doesn’t want to stay on College Game Day forever. We are paying so much money now…….Go big or go home. Quote
