Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted June 20, 2024 Moderators Posted June 20, 2024 OTF caught up with Conroe (Texas) High 4-star CB Dorian Brew as he was boarding his flight to Columbus to OV to Ohio State. I had time to ask him one question … scale of 1 to 10 how would he rank the Texas visit? ”Ten.” Brew was hosted by Jaylon Guilbeau. 43 1 Quote

NothinButDaHorns34 Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 Oof! Heading to ohio state after a visit to us doesn’t sound promising since they seem to lead for him. 1 Quote

Jbro52 Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 Hopefully he comes to a game this year seems like his recruitment will go all the way to the wire committed or not Quote

Despite the history behind this particular recruit, I hate continually losing Texas kids to Ohio St. Quote

Even if he commits to Ohio state, Ryan day can piss down his leg this season and it will be filsiame situation again Quote

This recruitmemt has been up and down with leaders of the recruitment, Oregon said they think there the leader USC thinks the same but dont know how much of a threat they are now they they lost key commits. LSU thinks there top Two at least. OSU has 3 Safeties committed and two 5 🌟 CB’s. I honestly dont think anyone knows at this point. I think it comes down to Texas and LSU with Oregon and OSU on the rim. Just my two Cents though idk nothing at all compared to yall! Edited June 20, 2024 by BigPickleTexas Quote

Obviously Gerry knows more than me but I havent heard Brew say we now lead before his OH St OV. I expect Northmount, Ohio native Brew to commit to Ohio St. Interview I heard before summer was glowing Ohio and Ohio St talk from Brew. Ohio St talked to Brew about starting out at NB but could go back to CB. Liked his versatility to be able to play safety. Ohio St cut ties with OH St commit Woodby CB in May to allow more room for Brew. OH St would have six young and highly rated CBs (three 5-star CBs in this class) if Brew joined. Also numerous safeties, maybe 4 young prospects in two years plus transfer 5-star Downs S. Somebody good will transfer out of OH St in a year or two because they dont have a path to play in their secondary. TX only got a mid week OV from Brew. Glad to read he had a 10 out of 10 TX visit. Depth Chart at Texas is more inviting. It is recruiting with NIL and more favorable depth chart so we could win out against the odds. But I'll be surprised if we get Brew to commit this summer. Maybe come in 2nd and get Brew to flip late in the year if all goes well or get Brew in the transfer portal like we did with Ryan Watts from OH St. My two cents. Hope I am wrong and happily surprised with a TX commit. 🤘 2 Quote
