Bobby Burton Posted July 7, 2024 Posted July 7, 2024 Texas freshman corner Santana Wilson is the son of NFL exec Adrian Wilson. Adrian was director of player personnel for Carolina but it appears he was recently let go. 6 Quote

SamuraiKnight Posted July 7, 2024 Posted July 7, 2024 Would be cool if he joined the Texas Staff to help evaluate talent 9 Quote

Robert Gilbert Posted July 7, 2024 Posted July 7, 2024 Interesting. He was a very good player in the NFL. He has served several administrative positions within a couple of NFL teams. He knows the league and has experience evaluating talent. A chance to work with Sark and be around his daily sounds like an opportunity too good to pass up. 4 Quote

Adam Lane Posted July 7, 2024 Posted July 7, 2024 Another secondary coach as well. Adrian, "You're not doing it right Santana! Do it again." Santana, "Aw, Man! Com'on DAD." 🤣 Quote

DK25 Posted July 7, 2024 Posted July 7, 2024 This would be an amazing addition to the staff. Is it a possibility? Sark has mentioned Saban's coaches rehab helped him when he didn't have many options, but has he ever commented if he would do the same thing? He seems to prefer continuity and longer-term relationships. 1 Quote
LonghornDiggah Posted July 7, 2024 Posted July 7, 2024 Or maybe also help with our DBs would be nice 1 Quote
DIIsles Posted July 7, 2024 Posted July 7, 2024 Related, but how is Michael Huff regarded as a DB coach? Is he interested in pursuing jobs as a primary DB/CB coach somewhere? 1 Quote
