Every home football game this season, Texas baseball has used it to their advantage when it comes to hosting prospects. This has resulted in numerous commitments and many, many successful visits that have put the Longhorns in prime position to land players that they’re after.

This weekend is no exception.

While I’m not going to get into specifics on who just yet, here’s what I can tell you:

- Texas will host just a handful of prospects this weekend.

- It will be 2025 and 2026 guys

- All visitors will be official visits.

- The talent level coming in this weekend is something I’ve never seen before all on the same weekend. It’s elite.

- There will be players on campus who are currently committed elsewhere.

- Schloss and his staff are not playing around. It’s all about quality, not quantity, this weekend.

Love the note @Blake Munroe I love the direction the baseball program is going!!🤘

P.S. Is there anything new on Aaliyah Chavez?

Me too. Great stuff this staff is doing and is capable of.

Nothing new. She’s on her own timeline. Multiple sources say it looks good for the Horns. I’d say 75% Texas right now if I had to pick.

Only asking because i saw D1 baseball post about how a player will more then likely will be coming out of the bullpen to start the year

I saw that too.  I wonder where they get their information.  Regarding that player, he was hurt after about 6 starts, so he was only the starter for that period of time.  He has been rehabing so that may be the speculation and/or reasoning for starting him off in the bullpen.
