I think ND blows out IU based on the conditions. I’ll take the best running offense and it’s not close. [both defenses are top 10 so it could be an ugly game]

Rush offense- ND = 9; IU = 50+

I concur if the weather is a big factor at game time

I think ND wins but not because of the weather.  Bloomington is just as cold as South Bend.  It will be because ND has the Jimmies and the Joes.

And agree with this too. I have ND because they have better players, and at key positions. They are a blue blood in the trenches, and have good players around it - even with some tough injury luck at spots this season.

Rourke might be the most accurate QB  in the postseason.

Try throwing a football accurate all game in 30 degree weather, with flurries and a 10mph wind.  I'll be happy I am watching it from my couch in front of a fire.

He did that already.

Threw for 349 and 6 TD vs. Purdue in the snow. He's from Canada, I can't imagine the cold affects him like it would some of these other QBs.

I'll be honest here: I don't know why all of a sudden Notre Dame is such an overwhelming favorite in this game.

A month ago everyone was calling for them to lose so that another SEC team could get in, and now, everyone seems to be thinking that they're going to waltz into the Natty.

The point is he performed well in similar weather. Stay daunted.

Easy to perform vs a 1-11 team. Lets see how he performs in that cold while getting hit and rushed vs the ND defense.

Teams like IU and SMU don't belong here. Give me any of Bama, Ole Miss, or South Carolina. I want to see competitive matchups as a fan. This format is not going to give that until the semi final.
