Agree completely. Unfortunately, some fans expect perfection, but that's impossible in football. He carried the team more often than not and should be commended and appreciated for an outstanding career while helping Sark rebuild.

In addition, Ewers is an outstanding individual and a fine representative of the University. I wish him well in the NFL.

I was giving blood when I first saw Quinn's commitment. I couldn't believe it, both of the only 1.0 ranked recruits in history were both gonna be longhorns!

When he decomitted i was bummed, and I knew it was thankfully the end of the Herman era. I watched his tape and while Texas fans trashed the kid because he went to OSU I knew he was special. MM did well in the elite 11 but it was clear 3 was a massive talent.

When he portaled i was so happy and thought he would be a savior year 1. Things aren't that easy but overall Quinn has been awesome. Not without flaws but awesome!

Quinn brought this program back! Texas fell short but its been a hell of a run. Hook'em!

I'll always ride or die in this Texas dirt.. Quinn came home. I'd rather him die on the shield with us.

I'm a nobody, Quinns a multi millionaire but I think we all have to slow down and pray for Quinn..if he ever reads this I hope he knows his fourth and thirteen brought hope, inspiration and authenticity to a program that was in need of it. I'll always love Quinn and I wish he didn't have an expiration date because I do think he's a national championship caliber QB. He will see will Howard hoist a trophy or Riley Leonard when Quinn is better than both.

Quinn has a great peace within himself that will allow his talent to flourish in high velocity situations..I'm always gonna ride with 3. Thank you, Quinn.

People make things up like he's the most hated QB, lol. People can't differentiate between criticism and hate. Very few people hate Ewers. I believe most people are critical of his play, at times. But regardless of all that hoopla, he has QB'd the return of Texas Football, there is no denying that. He played his ass off for Texas and you can't ask for anything more than that.

I hope he goes to the pro's and kills it there. He has the talent, but I think 3 straight injuries has really hampered him a lot, imo.

You must not get on Twitter. There's more that actually hate Quinn out there than you think

Many that went to UT also bash him. I see them every home game. It's pathetic

That is a pity.  Although presumably during the game, everyone who makes a mistake gets cursed out.

More focused on when folks are not in the moment.

Anyway, hard not to love the guy.  He grew up so much at UT and has turned into such a professional.

Really hope that there isn't enough disappointment in our fan base to make another Simms situation. That Chris hasn't really been back to the 40 speaks volumes and is one of the travesties of my time watching Texas football.

Quinn can be frustrating to watch, no doubt. Even Sark gets pissed at his choices during games. Sark can be frustrating to watch at times, too. When Quinn Ewers is operating in rhythm and making quicker reads, he is special to watch. He can freaking sling it. He is a helluva competitor.

I'm excited about the next chapter, too. But wow, Quinn did more than his share to bring Texas back.

Lifetime Longhorn. No matter how old you are, this dude was a top 10 all-time QB at the University of by God Texas. That's saying something.
