TXFF
Nothing but respect and appreciation for Quinn. He's a class act and has a bright future. Glad to see so many here understand what he did to bring the Horns back to greatness.
Jmftexas
I just posted on Bobby’s thread and didn’t see this one. He had a great attitude. Handling the Arch situation isn’t easy and he did it as well as one could. He gave us a chance to win it all. The losses this year weren’t on him.
Jordan91
Great job young man. Don’t drop your head for too long. Better days are ahead. When the pain goes away you will remember the ride. The ride was really fun.

I couldn't believe it, both of the only 1.0 ranked recruits in history were both gonna be longhorns! When he decomitted i was bummed, and I knew it was thankfully the end of the Herman era. I watched his tape and while Texas fans trashed the kid because he went to OSU I knew he was special. MM did well in the elite 11 but it was clear 3 was a massive talent. When he portaled i was so happy and thought he would be a savior year 1. Things aren't that easy but overall Quinn has been awesome. Not without flaws but awesome! Quinn brought this program back! Texas fell short but its been a hell of a run. Hook'em! Agree and thanks to Quinn. I remember when Simms committed. In those days I had to call into Robert Heard's or Jerry Scarborough's 900# for the daily commitments. Yikes! Here's hoping Arch turns out to be great. His performance and demeanor along with his team spirit have him off to a good start. Hook 'Em!

He looked the same in beating Bama in Tuscaloosa in '23... An outstanding accomplishment. The two long bombs he threw were college QB perfection. Then this season at the Big House he looked like a Heisman favorite. Injuries and the football gods conspired to hold him one step short of the top. And perhaps one bad coaching call on D and one on O didn't help either. James Street and Vince Young sit on that top step but they don't have to look down very far to see #3. Thanks and Hook 'Em!

Neil Leininger
Glad he's done. Could never elevate the team, when the team needed him the most he folded.
rgvhorn80
I disagree. Quinn was a serviceable QB. He has a lot of talent around that as a whole brought Texas back. Sam was just as good as Quinn or better. He was tough as nails and could make plays on his own. Give me Sam with the same talent and Texas may be playing for NC. On another note nothing against Quinn, he seems like a good person. He’s just not that good. Edited January 11 by rgvhorn80
CoachBobbyFinstock
Folks hating Quinn are brain dead. Yes we would have liked a few more plays to be made but has helped return Texas back to prominence. Quinn’s priority’s are spot on and he has a bright future. Hook em Quinn and thank you 🤘

While I have been critical of QE there was none of last nights game that was on him. WR dropped multiple passes, Sark called arguably one of the worst red zone series in Texas recent memory, the defense gave up a 75 yard screen pass for a TD. No Quinn was not perfect but he played more than well enough for Texas to win.

Clint Baros
He is the most under-appreciated QB in the history of this program. I can’t stand when i see people all over twitter who know nothing about the sport try and blame everything on Quinn and even former NFL players like Dez Bryant last night and Shannon Sharpe all damn season. Yes Arch is exciting, but holy crap the fact manning is his last name makes everyone think he can come in and play like prime Vince Young. These fans either have bad memory or are just so spoiled considering the fact for 13 years we were mediocre at best and were lucky to make the Alamo Bowl and now Quinn has brought us to Back-2-Back 12+ win seasons and 2 straight CFP Semi-Finals. I never got to watch Colt or Vince so considering my fandom started during a 5-7 2010 season, Quinn easily became my favorite player i’ve ever watched in the burnt orange. Hook ‘em and thanks for everything QE3🤘

There's more that actually hate Quinn out there than you think Twitter is a cesspool, I do not peruse it very much. I think you'll find that the loud voices are a minority. The vast majority of fans love Quinn Ewers. He's one of the all time great Texas QB's and he will be sorely missed. The opinion of the few, do not outweigh the many. Just my take anyway.
