camridleyfan Posted Monday at 11:01 PM Posted Monday at 11:01 PM I'd be down , better situation (by a little) than the browns and all the other garbage teams he met with Quote
Bevo92 Posted Monday at 11:10 PM Author Posted Monday at 11:10 PM Think it's cool that Quinn is training with Mike McCarthy plus the quotes from MM re: his observations about Quinn. https://thelandryhat.com/mike-mccarthy-may-give-cowboys-awesome-parting-gift-quinn-ewers-01jmzcjgaw67 Quote

The best thing for Quinn to do be a backup and work for two years, get his body completely right and put some weight on. Any hint of a Dak mistake or bad game would send all the Longhorn Cowboy's fans calling for Quinn to start. 1 Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted Tuesday at 04:20 PM Moderators Posted Tuesday at 04:20 PM Brian Schottenheimer was at the Texas pro day last year. I was told he liked what he saw from Quinn. 2 1 Quote

Moderators CJ Vogel Posted Tuesday at 04:32 PM Moderators Posted Tuesday at 04:32 PM I like the fit. Let Dak play out his contract and see allow Dallas to find some complementary pieces are CeeDee by the time it is time to take over. 1 Quote

Somebody is going to take a chance on Quinn in the first round if he's indeed QB3. 1 Quote
HookedOnTF Posted Wednesday at 06:21 PM Posted Wednesday at 06:21 PM (edited) I hope he becomes a franchise QB, wins a super bowl, and earns a gold jacket. However, if he ends up carrying a clipboard (no shame in that), there are so many better options than the Jones fun house. Even cities with lousy winter weather that have great fans, a plus owner/culture, and a title shot could be appealing for a decade. Edited Wednesday at 06:22 PM by HookedOnTF Quote

Being a top level career backup in the NFL is a lucrative job and flat out easiest job in the league. Chase Daniel earned 41 million dollars being that guy, Chad Henne earned 38 million, and Colt earned over 26 million. 2 Quote

Raistlin Posted Wednesday at 09:53 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:53 PM Makes sense for Dallas to take QE on day 2. Give him a year to watch and Dalla can start the rebuild by dumping “Albatross” Prescott. 1 Quote
.45s Posted Thursday at 10:47 PM Posted Thursday at 10:47 PM I am a Cowboys fan and worry that they will get rid of Dak (with my blessing) and boost the backup. If it happens soon I am not sure I would want Quinn to be thrust into that without a couple of years under his belt as a backup first. Quote

He would do much better than Dak . Quote

He can put up numbers, but when the team needs him he can't put them on his shoulders. I hated the contract they gave him. I also did not like that big contract for Ezekiel when he was already on the decline. I like Quinn a lot and hope he can stay healthy and prosper in the NFL. 1 Quote
