You can’t win a natty with that.

Will Texas increase beyond that in the coming years?

Let's see. Texas, Bama and Auburn were pretty much even in NIL this year in hoops. Florida in the same area code.

That's a starting #, there will be more in future. That comes from the top.

Very interesting. No wonder Nate Oates wants to move to the NBA

This seems similar to what beard had on the elite 8 roster. Beard was set to receive more NIL but his situation happened.

CDC is giving Miller enough to win and if he succeeds with what he has he will get more

Absolutely love this approach too. Don’t make it an Achilles heel but instead give Miller enough to compete at a high level and an opportunity to get more support with results

I think I’m OK with that.  Give Miller enough to  prove that he can be successful and then go all in if he does.

As an example Georgia released their House Settlement allocations for sports. 75% to Football  or 13.5million plus. Mens Basketball around 15% or 2.7 million plus . Women's Basketball around 5% or 900,000. According to Online Athens Newspaper. The other 5% spread around remaining sports FWIW.

Was told about 20 minutes ago that Texas is expected to see a basketball all together NIL increase into the 4.8-5 million range for next season.

This season's roster was 3.7-3.8 million.

That increase would place Texas in the top 15 range nationally based on numbers currently.

Gerry, last night you indicated that NIL and revenue sharing will be linked in some way. Can you expand on that?

Should be good for about 3 more Indiana St JAGs

Funny you say that while most are hoping Ryan Conwell follows Miller to Texas. You know Conwell was one of those Indiana State jags too? Was a starter alongside Larry, Kent & Cream Abdul Jabbar.

He’s saying the two we took were the jags.

Sounds like he believes any of the guys from Indiana State were JAGs. Just find it ironic considering Conwell just came from there.

Then you lack comprehension skills.

Basketball schools can now just give up on football revenue sharing and take 15-20 million to win at basketball.

It’s going to be a mess.
