Texas had 11 players selected in the first 213 picks of last year’s draft.

It was 11 players in the first 207 picks in this year‘s draft.

Surprised about Cam Williams going so late. Really surprised Hayden Connor got draft good for him. Texas is becoming a NFL breeding ground.. Thank you Sark and the staff. We were in purgatory with Strong and Herman.

Mertz spent four seasons at Wisconsin and two seasons at Florida. He's coming off a torn ACL and had problems staying healthy throughout his college career. But he's accurate with good touch, makes sound decisions and has a good frame.-- Steve Muench

Injury has played a part, but wonder about his interviews. Thinking outside the box maybe teams are questioning his full commitment to football since he so unemotional.
