Jarveaux Posted May 10 Posted May 10 I have to admit I missed it but from articles I’ve read . Our Hoss from Galveston Ball was trying to fire our team up on his walk . I’m all for him getting our team fired up . He’s going to be a demon on the football 🏈 field for us . He’s going to be special. 4 Quote

I'd prefer to see him save the histrionics for the gridiron. Edited May 11 by horns96 2 1 Quote

What he's doing this year in baseball is incredible. I didn't expect him to contribute anything to this team with his clavicle injury. Then he did and had another set back and contributes again. I'm a huge Jonah fan. I bet he never shows out like that after a walk again. Or maybe he does and I'll get used to it. 1 1 Quote
Gerald Nash Posted May 11 Posted May 11 (edited) He is a dog. I love his energy and have no issue with his competiveness. Schloss even mentioned it in his presser. Edited May 11 by Gerald Nash 1 1 Quote
Burnt Orange Horn Posted May 11 Posted May 11 The young teenager has to learn the rules of conduct on the field. He was trying to fire up his team. He does not repeat mistakes. He does win games, though. 4 Quote
Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted May 11 Moderators Posted May 11 Fearlessness leads to being a very talented return man on the gridiron. Why I like him to be squarely in the mix for punt returner, and possibly KOR as well. 7 1 Quote
LibertyHillHorn Posted May 11 Posted May 11 I liked his game #2 double much better than his game #1 walk. Maybe this is just being 17 years old, but he needs to rein it in. Baseball is baseball. Hook'em 2 Quote

For clarity, Is Jonah injured again with pulled muscle? If so, seems concerning with repeated soft tissue injuries. 1 Quote

Hashtag Posted Monday at 01:28 PM Posted Monday at 01:28 PM It's funny to see Texas fans celebrate him doing that while also rioting when the OU softball team does the same thing lol. Quote

Hash the OU softball team has lost less than 20 games out of the last 250 they have played. I may not be exactly right but I’m close. jonah comes from a wonderful family in Galveston his Dad is a Galveston Judge I believe his mom is a teacher. His two bothers are athletes one lives in Austin played professional baseball other in Juco . Jonah is a gifted athlete more than any on 40 acres perhaps. He is definitely Prime Time. Enjoy him get use to winning. He’s definitely a highlight reel . Quote

jonbailey Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago So he skipped to first base and people are now mad? I guess I don’t understand baseball culture. 2 Quote

I'm with you, but most of baseball's rules and culture are unwritten, so.. I liked his moxy. The next day he drove in the winning runs with a base clearing double, so there's that. Quote
TexasMDcoach Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Love this young man's competitive spirit. Excited to see him in both sports. My advise is ignore the naysayers and keep shining. Quote
