What tight end will lead the team in receiving TDS and how many? Who do you think will lead the team in punt returns? Who will lead Texas running backs in receptions? Will Arch have under 8 interceptions? Does Texas have a 1,000 yard RB and 1,000 yard receiver? Thank you Clark has a really good chance to make an impact for Texas. Endries and 7 I have convinced myself Jonah Williams is perfect for the punt return game. Wisner No Yes ... Wingo and Wisner 3 1 Quote

Lole and Norton were good, but pretty one dimensional in their production on the field. Johnson and January will be better players in 2025. Great responses, thanks! I’m honestly surprised that you rate 2025 higher on disruption and interior pass rush. I would have expected the opposite. But definitely not complaining! 1 Quote

TexasEx Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago On C&F, Gerry talked about how nobody really knows how Ohio Steak will scheme its offense and defense given the change in coordinators and personnel. Who volunteers to scour Bucknuts, or whatever online cesspool those fans gravitate towards these days, to gather intel? Quote

Wingo got a lot of run with him last year. Livingstone was the only one to get all of the spring reps. Moore had great production with him on the field in 2024. 3 Quote

There are all sorts of analysts in the office that are scouring the internet for information on opponents at this point. It will ramp up near fall camp. 2 Quote

The interior pass rush in 2024 was essentially only Vernon Broughton. Collins was a rock, but not one that was uber active at getting after the quarterback. 1 Quote

Spencer Shannon Ryan Niblett Daniel Cruz Derek Williams Williams is on the field and working out again after tearing his ACL against OU. Daniel Cruz remains to be someone that has turned heads behind the scenes. He will push for the center spot. Nothing new on Niblett who remains on the defensive side of the ball. TE room just got crowded with Townsend/Endries arriving. This summer will be a great test for Shannon as he works to carve out his role for the fall. 4 1 Quote
Hornmatic Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago For the sake of conversation let’s say the top 3 interior DL are Brevard, Watson, and January. Who will be the #4 to make it on the two deep out of the rest? 1 Quote
DanielOnorato Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Have any walk ons stood out during Spring Ball? I know Colin Page got a little time last year when the RB room wore thin... Is Travis Shaw the front runner if healthy to take over the Bill Norton role? Quote

Zacharyhorn Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago 4 hours ago, CJ Vogel said: One of my favorite recurring conversations was with Devin Sanchez during his recruitment. I would see him at various different locations, 7v7 tournaments, State Track meets, etc. Sanchez would always keep the same approach for questions about Texas – "Yeah, we'll see." was basically his message. Sanchez silently committed to Ohio State after visiting in November and publicly made the decision in January of 2024. It was rumored that Texas was going to go all the way back in for Sanchez towards the back end of the spring, and they did. Sanchez told me at the State Track Meet in April that there was no shot he was going to visit Texas again before signing – and he held firm on that. Texas eventually circled back to North Shore, literally, via helicopter with Steve Sarkisian and Terry Joseph, but the five-star cornerback never had interest in rethinking his commitment. Sanchez was the first to tell me Ohio State would land Riley Pettijohn, and at the time, he told me the Buckeyes were going to land Dakorien Moore as well. tOSU went 1-2 in those recruitments. CJ, was it purely just lack of interest on Sanchez’s part towards Texas, or was it another reason he seemed to sour on TX. I mean after the last two years of playing well and developing talent, I would have thought he would have at list visited. Quote
Texas fan in Georgia Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Late to the party but I’ve wondered if the best path forward for Baxter is to sit week one, get light reps during the 3 games following and be 100% by SEC opener vs UF. Thoughts? Quote

Evan Barta Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago @Gerry Hamilton any updates on kavian bryant did he do good enough for the staff to extend an offer i really like him over the 2 Louisiana kids in my opinion. Quote
HornsUpThumbsDown Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Do you think Texas still needs a receiver. Like Wingo but don’t think he is at the level of the best in the country. After Moore pretty steep fall off with experience which is tough. Quote
