4-star+ RB KJ Edwards commits to Texas A&M

Kid was bought  plain and simple.

It looks really foolish when you have a school that’s had 5 RBs drafted in the last few years and has the most Doak Walker award winners.

This doesn’t include Texas has been to the semi’s the last two years and will be in the hunt again. He would also join Dia Bell in the backfield in this class.

This is no knock on Chad Scott but I don’t think we miss some of these RBs with tashard choice.

Nobody is off the board, y'all can b***h because we’re reactionary and it’s fun but you can’t honestly believe any of these cats are sewn up. If Crowell commits to Bama in a week, not sewn up. Hell Osborne isn’t sewn up. It is June. Calm your t*ts. It says more about A&M that they have to go shock and awe with these dudes in June, they have nothing to sell.

Major facts.. and now DK will not have the luxury of a top notch guy on the other side like he would've here. With Stewart down... who else scares you that had done it over there? Failing to get commitments from recruits who do not want to win on the field for Texas nor win in life off the field at Texas  is not a loss. It is dodging a bullet.

NIL bag chasers do not build great teams.  Sarkisian builds great teams.

A lot of y'all simply aren’t built for the recruiting game. Legislation, NIL, bags coming back strong, transfer portal, etc. 

It’s all in transition but Texas will get a very good to elite class every year so long as it stays interested in winning. Wanting vs needing vs getting a top 3 elite class every year isn’t realistic or even necessary to compete for championships annually. 

Right fit and above average players should be the floor.
