closetojumping Posted Friday at 01:59 AM Posted Friday at 01:59 AM I was looking at the Longhorns in the NFL list on Ourlads today and noticed that Connor Williams was nowhere to be found. I looked him up and I didn’t hear about him deciding to retire in the middle of last season after playing every offensive snap through 9 games for the Seahawks. Bizarre. He made some decent money. I hope he’s doing well. I was grateful for him on the OL during some dark times for Texas in general. 1 Quote

If i remember right he had recovered from 2 major knee injuries and wasn’t able to perform at the same level last year. He had just gotten married and decided to enter a different stage in life. Best of luck to the dude. Quote

Dread-headed Texan Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago 😂 Quinn got in and went 0-4 with a sack fumble. I was on the phone with my nephew and told him I gotta turn this game off because when he start trending I don't wanna lie when he ask me why. 1 Quote

Not sure if you watched the game, or if I’m still wearing my orange glasses, but there were several passes that should have been caught. Certainly not a wonderful performance, but those numbers would’ve been significantly better with a little help 2 1 Quote

Banks looks like a first rounder so far, Spencer playing like he know Banks got him. 2 Quote
Dread-headed Texan Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Who was the genius scout that said Banks arms was too short and he should be a guard? So far he's been able to keep DL from getting into his body and once he gets his hands on you the rep is over. Quote
Dread-headed Texan Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Any NO fans out there what's going on with Ford? Why isn't he playing? Quote
TexasMDcoach Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Quinn was playing with their third string which affected a lot. There were no Goldens out there running routes for him and protection was lacking but he still appears to be hamstrung by his poor pocket escapism. He showed flashes but overall was a poor first outing that he can build on. 2 Quote

Sometimes fans think every incompletion is on the QB and fail to account for chemistry or understand that route concepts are trying to accomplish certain goals. Personally I won't be able to see what's going on until I can get my hands on the all 22. It won't be until then, that I'll be able to understand if all of the misses were on Quinn. Lol at least he ain't throwing pick 6s like 40 year old Tyler Shough. 1 Quote
