Robert Eberhardt Posted August 11 Posted August 11 I got diagnosed with (testicular) cancer about a month ago - have a good prognosis but am starting my first chemo round next week. I seem to have caught it relatively early/had surgery right away, but it was still scary as hell to have heard that news... Cancer doesn't discriminate (i had no major health problems in my life before this), so use this as a way to scare you into going to the doctor for regular checkups if not for anything else.ย 4 Quote
Buck Travis Posted August 11 Posted August 11 Damn, hope they caught it early. You never imagine a beast like Sergio having a serious illness. Wishing him the best. ย I don't remember any time in my life hearing about so many people with cancer. Quote

Bobby Burton Posted August 12 Posted August 12 I was texting with Doug Rice of the Dallas Exes last night and he said Sergio would often go to their game-watch events and be one of the guy leading the crowd in cheers. Good Longhorn and was always great to deal with for me personally. 1 Quote

It must be taken seriously. He was a huge Longhorns fan and our family got a tile for him on the main plaza of the Alumni Center. If you ever see "In memory of J G Dobbs" it's his tile. Quote
