Agree with this, less time to think and overthink, let your training and natural abilities take over. I was never an elite athlete, but I did complete some Ironman triathlons, my friends always told me on race day to ease my nervousness - just trust your training. That's all the Longhorns needs to do, trust their training - they have some of the best coaches in the sport. 1 Quote
alrightalrightalright Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I used to really like Klatt a lot. He’s a bit of a Big 10 homer now. The other day with Cowherd he asked Colin if this is a bigger game for the SEC or B1G and the whole convo delved into talking about how great the B1G is with the best player, best team, best coach, last two national champions, etc. To the root of his question, I wouldn’t pound my chest for the SEC if we win, I’d be happy to say that Texas has gone into Tuscaloosa, Ann Arbor, and Columbus in consecutive years. The SEC didn’t do that. Klatt’s Fox affiliation has watered him down for me. But I will watch this lol 3 Quote
Texazz Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Klatt still shows TEXAS a lot of love, generally speaking. 3 Quote
genevalonghorn Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Somebody should send Meyer some Jacksonville chubbies. 5 Quote
BloodOrange Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Meyer is not a gracious guy. Very full of himself. Gives Sark some backhanded compliments, but adds, "Who couldn't win at Texas or USC?" Well, Urban, we've seen our share of those who couldn't, but Sark rebuilt UT in three years if getting to the CFP is a measure. We dodged a bullet with Urban (Team isn't performing well -- I'm having sudden health issues) Meyer. 3 Quote

Sark with a new QB (Quinn) in Alabama #1 at DKR, jumped all over Bama with an aggressive opening script. It worked until the late hit/Quinn injury. Only difference is Sark knew what Saban was going to show on defense. He’s probably not so sure this time around, so might feel things out. Quote
CHorn427 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Outside of Texas winning the national title, I don’t care who wins as long as it’s not Big10. Fox leading the charge saying how the Big10 is so dominant now that they’ve won 2 championships in a row would be laughable if it wasn’t so obnoxious. Fox is garbage. Their college football product is corporate copycat, heartless emulation of College GameDay. Fox asserting Big10 dominance is like Gretchen Weiners trying to make fetch happen. Just be happy to temporarily be on par with the SEC. 1 Quote
HookedOnTF Posted 9 minutes ago Posted 9 minutes ago Urban is not above setting us up for failure, so I like that he's calling for a Buckeyes win. However the idea that all Day can trust Sayin to do is low risk passes for a field possession game has me licking my chops if our OL holds up. Meanwhile I'd like to see Sark pull a secret hidden 2H starting script out of his back pocket. Quote
