That’s why most of the difference makers on this team are on that side of the ball. They don’t spend as much on offense imo Just odd that the freshman wr malachi toney for Miami came out like gang busters vs Notre dame with 6 for 82 and a touchdown and sark is saying lockett, ffrench, butler, Terry are behind niblett who didn't get an offensive snap even with Mosley out. I'd expect these guys to sound more promising in their development. Hopefully he proves me wrong but his best guys have been transfers with established skillsets. 5 Quote

Califashorn75 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Sark never throws a player under the bus. We lost because Arch was rattled in the first half. But Sark won't say that. Arch was nervous, but then got it together in the second half. He will look at this game as a turning point in his career. He will ball out the next game. No one wishes Saturday were here now more than Arch. 3 Quote

alrightalrightalright Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Bouwmeester was great on Saturday, but it feels like a sad state of affairs when he’s tapped for media availability. Have we had a punter out there? Maybe Michael Dickson? 1 Quote

He met directly with Arch at halftime to calm him down. This baffles me. Arch looked really bad in the first half. Why is our QB whisperer OC/HC waiting until halftime to talk to his star player? 1 1 Quote

I’ve just been doing research on sarks career and the numbers and IMO he’s overrated. Look at how the falcons regressed in PPG when he was hired and fired after 3 years. The yards can be there big deal when it doesn’t translate to points what good does the yards do? His PPG since being at Texas has either dropped or remained nearly the same. I’m not calling for his job or anything. 2 back to back playoffs blah blah blah when your losing every game to teams or staffs that have equal talent Overrated at what? 2 Quote

Everyone should have had zero expectations for the freshmen in a game of that magnitude. The freshman should definitely get plenty of reps the next 3 weeks. Unless you've heard rumblings from the inside, I see no reason to be concerned. 2 Quote

Yeah let’s see how much Manning’s accuracy improves over the course of this season before directing that much criticism to the WR room. I will say the WR could’ve prevented Manning’s only interception of the game by acting like a defensive back. Quote

No one wishes Saturday were here now more than Arch. He did say it. He said he wasn't in the game, he wasn't processing the coverages well, he said he wasn sound mechanically on crossing routes. Sark very rarely (maybe apart from playcalling/redzone) dances around a subject. He's also, rightly, not gonna put all the blame on his inexperienced qb making his first road start, however bad that looked. Quote

Assistant Regional Manager Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Good to see we've reached the point in the season where people get angry at canned press conference responses and that all our problems weren't fixed by talking into a microphone. You are lying to yourself if you believe Steve Sarkisian could say anything into a microphone to make you feel better about the red zone. 4 Quote

I hate this kind of comments from fans. Yeah the loss ruined your saturday, guess what: no one in that building worked their ass off in the off-season to lose this game and they are sure as hell more frustrated about it than the fanbase. What is the kid supposed to say? "Oh no it didn't really affect us this loss, just another day at work type of deal" Edited 1 hour ago by diegozanna20 Quote
Jordan91 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago How does this coach get out of a room without anyone asking about red zone? Did he threaten to shut down inside information from anyone that asks that question? That can’t be true because he doesn’t give every media outlet inside information. 2 Quote

I’m pretty convinced of that. They had a chance to get Branch, Singleton, Concepcion—any number of dangerous, proven weapons who had serious interest in Texas. It’s remarkable to me how little urgency they felt about that position, losing as much proven playmaking as they did. Quote
