Tusacaloosa has fallen.

It is actually shocking.

Alabama has arguably more (or at least as much) talent than any other team, and a coach that was considered to be the best young coach in the business.

Plus they played a power level opponent on the road and won comfortably.  Much more impressive.

Criminals better wake-up. Their o-line was horrible and ILL ST ran really well against them. If they play like that against Michigan, they'll get dog walked up and down the field.

Man, I didn't expect the AP writers to do it, but I give them credit. They dropped Alabama completely out, which they should have. That defense just looked awful. Alabama might have hired another from the DuBose, Franchione, Shula tree as opposed to Bryant, Stallings, or Saban.

Mr. Sioux Falls is not an SEC caliber HC.

That Miami o-line looked really good. Their edge rushers all pretty good too. Thing with them is that they find a way to be inconsistent.

I'm certainly wait and see on LSU in the trenches. Clemson's o-line is average, and their defense was horrible last year. How much better is the Clemson defense this year?

Yeah deboer is finding out that coaching in the SEC and coaching Sioux Falls are two totally different animals.

I don't think DeBoer has a scheme problem or inability to figure out the SEC. His problem is that Saban was a disciplinarian and he isn't. Now that the players on whom Saban used the wrath of God to keep in line don't have the structure, they're simply giving way to bad habits. DeBoer doesn't have the personality to cover that.

How is 21 completely out?

Georgia beating a Marshall team where nearly everyone transferred out and Oregon beating Montana State really isn't an accomplishment to be above Texas with a single touchdown loss to OSU. A touchdown that was an extremely lucky bounce. Texas lead in passing, rushing, and receiving yards. Endries had one receiving yard more than Carnell Tate. That's a better loss than a Phil Knight purchased team overrunning a school I didn't know existed.

Anyway, Ohio State lost to Oregon last year in the regular season on Will Howard's error then beat them later in the Rose Bowl to face Texas and won the national championship as the 8th seed.

That seems about where we should be honestly. We’re a great defensive team with a ton of upside. Arch will get better just look at his growth from ULM to MSU last season. He learned from his mistakes improved dramatically and if not for fumbles and drops we probably win that game by 50.

I’ll take arch over Sayin this year all day. Sayin didn’t beat Texas. Texas beat Texas.

Same.

_________ is the reason Texas lost.

1) Arch being too nervy and erratic

2) Sark’s game plan

3) Sark refusing to take points in the RZ

4) OSU is the better team

I don’t think it’s #4.

I think 7 is fair, was expecting not to drop out of the top 10. Not worried about the rankings just go out and do your jobs, uphold the standard and that will take care of itself.

Arch is our guy, not sure why people are wanting Sayin over him. Sayin did next to nothing special, he threw that TD pass that wasn't great and if Guilbeau turns around could've probably picked off, if not swatted away.

If they had to put the ball in his hands to win them the game, I don't know if he could. Because then you're asking him to do more than you wanted and Texas would've pinned their ears back and gotten after him. Because they would've moved away from 12 personnel and moved back to likely either 11 or 10 personnel.
