I don't know if it's all on him, our supposed "elite" D has given up 29 points to Florida right now. They look just as terrible as the O. 1 Quote
BillyNapierBlows Posted Saturday at 10:29 PM Posted Saturday at 10:29 PM Hope to god yall make a comeback. Thought I could enjoy watching Billy Dip$hit get his doors blown off again at home. Was hoping to see a half empty stadium with him walking off the field with echoing boos after another let down. And yet, I've had to watch this garbage. Texas has had their opportunities. Wasn't sold on Arch but its hard to blame the dude when he only has 3 seconds to get rid of the ball Quote

HDub1995 Posted Sunday at 03:50 AM Posted Sunday at 03:50 AM (edited) Current OL recruiting rankings and opinion from a casual: Goosby - 413 overall, 26th OT. Bad game but they hit on him Stroh - 613 overall, 41st OT. Big miss, but ranking pans out. Neto - 91overall, 4th IOL. If Stroh beat him out, he was a bad eval and miss Hutson - 362 nationally. 13th IOL. Would say not playing up to that ranking. He’s average. Campbell - 10 nationally, 1st IOL. Hard to live up to that billing, but he’s consistently been a liability and not living up to the standard. Miss Baker - 32 nationally, 2nd OT. Early in career, but clearly struggling. Miss so far. Recruiting matters. I would say Flood’s recruiting philosophy is coming home to roost a bit. Edited Sunday at 03:51 AM by HDub1995 1 1 Quote

But there were some big fish (humans) that this staff did not reel in for whatever reasons, and Cam and Banks flips from Oregon required luck of Cristobal leaving (which in a small world twist, Mario now has James Brockermeyer starting at Center). I hope Saban offers Sark some advice on this front. 2 Quote

And that isnt counting tight ends, and receivers. You guys need to 'get a grip'. We essentially have 10 new starters on offense! Offense just takes time. If you dont believe me look around the SEC and see which offenses are clicking early..........they all have great experience at QB and O-line. PS: Mateer is doing great! But this is his 3rd year in that system. Remember OU brought his coach with him....a very shrewd move. umm you realize this in Arch'a 3rd year in system right. Most QB's in the top of SEC and Nation have been in their system less than Arch. Quote
robertcook91 Posted Monday at 01:43 AM Posted Monday at 01:43 AM Hire Pittman as OL coach. Then Sark can hire a full time OC who spends 24/7 figuring out the next team's defense and can spend half of the game making adjustments. 1 Quote
TTown Posted yesterday at 12:39 AM Posted yesterday at 12:39 AM Being reported that Tim Drevno was hired as a consultant to help OL on 9/11 🤔. Has ties to Sark from USC worked under Harbaugh has a decent resume other places. Next OL coach in waiting or... Interesting very interesting! Quote

If you worked for Harbaugh for that long as an OL coach, I’d wager he’s good. Didn’t make much difference last week though, granted no idea how much of a voice he has or how much he can change in a few weeks. Can’t hurt having someone on staff with his experience. Quote

No wonder a true freshman lapped him. Cherry picking? I'm providing a list of the top 100 players according to PFF last year, that isn't cherry picking. That is providing detailed data that shows their rankings highly correlate to success and future NFL potential. Conversely for this year Connor Stroh is ranked in the bottom of PFF starting p4 linemen and that correlates to what we've seen on the field. So laugh at PFF if you want but it gives you a baseline of grades to see if the film matches what the grade is, sure it may not be perfect but most of the time the film definitely matches the grade. Take a look at all the grades from the games you cherry picked from and then tell me you think they’re accurate. You also said “the film matched up”. Which film? The all 22 you’ve made reference to? Got a link? Quote

This is true, if Cristobal doesn't got to Miami with his OL coach who's still with him there, Banks and Williams stick with their Oregon commits, imo. Not only is Brockermeyer starting at C, he's excelling there. Quote
