If they get smoked this wknd, which very well could happen, I wonder if this is the least of their coaching concerns. Tough times in Gainesville

Usually I’d be all for the best version of Florida possible to make it a good game, but given the circumstances this season I’ll take a Miami blowout and a full Gator coaching implosion this weekend please.

They're saying this is gonna be Lagway last game as a gator and that he's gonna keep the RS and transfer after Miami

And someone will overpay for him in that case. Not saying he can’t end up good, but if he goes and gets 2-2.5mill next year with what could be 1:1 TD/INT ration people are nuts.

CJ Bailey at NC State will be the one that teams want most if/when he hits the portal. I was told in SoFla last week that he will end at Miami next year

Not a fan of a guy sitting out after 4 games just to redshirt and portal (speaking of lagway) Quitting on your team and then pretty much giving your coach the middle finger and sending him to the unemployment line.  I know the arch hype was out of control in the offseason, but just as many were tabbing lagway as a top 5 QB and Heisman favorite as well. Last week was just ooooofff

I'm not paying Lagway anything, imo. Dude's not that good of a QB. He just threw 5 picks and has been pretty average to start the year. Miami would be crazy to throw money at him.

It's part of the whole NIL/transfer portal. Not a fan of how it's set up, but I'm fine with NIL and all that but the free for all it's become is just stupid.

Buying an at least solid but proven 4th-6th year senior QB appears to be the new "road to glory" strategy as we can see this year. Rinse and repeat every single year. Would that be a model for Texas as well since the developmental route the Horns have taken thus far has not produced the desired results?
