Bunk Moreland Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Yeah, that missed DPI was turrrrble. Would’ve been Auburn 1st and goal inside the 5. Quote
Bunk Moreland Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I feel more confident today that we should be able to slow OU’s offense. They couldn’t run the ball against a 1-man front lol. And if you contain Mateer’s legs, they have a hard time moving the ball. But damn is their defense salty. We’d better improve considerably on offense over the next 3 weeks. 2 Quote
Waxahorn Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago OU ran a trick play on their first touchdown that I believe is illegal. One of the receivers left the huddle early and pretended to run off the field but he stood just inbounds on the OU sideline. He was uncovered for a TD and the refs let it stand. 1 Quote
harveycmd Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago That was the worst officiated game of the year to this point. The reversal of the Auburn scoop and score was inexplicable. Guy clearly had possession before the fumble. The later ruling of a catch inside the five that set up a TD for the criminals was egregious too. Receiver clearly didn't have possession in bounds. That's 21 total points! 1 Quote
CoachBobbyFinstock Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Ou did a modified version of hideout which you can’t do in today’s game with the sub rule. They knew it and practiced it. Can’t believe Stoops was dumb enough to say they worked on it in practice. Surprised as a former coach he had that slip of the tongue. 1 Quote
Oldest Horn Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Upside: they won’t get away with it again anytime soon. Like three weeks from now! Quote
pinkman_90 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I don’t think I’ve ever seen ref calls impact the scoreboard as much as this game. Legit 20+ point swing in the score based on a few inexplicable calls. 1 Quote

For a decade they clearly worked on holding in practice so this is not surprising. Quote
Tuco Ramirez Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago If I recall correctly, the refs screwed Auburn in this game last year too. They definitely gave Mobile-homa the victory against South Carolina last year. Quote
Waxahorn Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Count me as not surprised. There was flagrant DPI by OU that went uncalled also. Quote
