What did he do against UGA? He had 18 yards rushing and was 2/6 passing for a total of 47 yards. If anything it was Carson Beck keeping Florida in the game throwing the ball to the wrong color jersey.

That UGA game is who Lagway is. He may not be accurate all night, but he'll launch one and leave you saying no way.

They'll just pick something else. You expect that kind of stuff from Aggies, but I thought moving to the SEC would alleviate much of that stuff. It hasn't. I mean, SEC programs have other rivals to worry about. I guess there's just something about saying "Texas" that gets them all going.

I hope our pass rush and coverage on the backend has him seeing ghost. I will tell you what if they are smart they need to target guillbeau in coverage. I hope we are smarter than to trout him out there at corner.

I can see a lot of 3x1 sets to isolate JG, the problem with that is that offensive line won't hold up without keeping a back in to chip. There are things we can do to make them pay for trying to gain an advantage through formations like split zone coverages.

Lagway has had a lot of trouble recognizing coverages and dealing with pressure. Unless he makes a massive leap quickly, Florida won't be able worry about looking for a particular DB.

No one is 100% who was in a boot the previous day. They've been lying about Lagway's health since last season. 

Maybe Florida gets healthy during this bye week, but they lacked 3 DLs against Miami and lost another one during the game who is not practicing now. They lost a starting CB in the second half to a knee blowout and another DB to a shoulder injury who will be unlikely against Texas. 

I'm interested in seeing their availability report next week because Sun Belt Billy holds physical practices during the season in the same way that Venables does. That makes it hard for some guys to get healthy, even coming off of a bye week.

Geezus Lagway was horrible in that LSU game. The crazy thing is LSU wasn't even doing anything exotic, Lagway was just gifting them the ball. The rushing offense midway through the 3rd quarter had 41 yards. I'll take Manning missing on ten consecutive throws over anything Lagway did that game.

Totally fair point, the pundits are going to twist the Florida game no matter what. If Lagway plays hurt, it’s “Texas beat a QB in a boot.” If he’s out, it’s “Texas beat a backup.” Either way, there won’t be much credit given. But honestly, that’s the price of being a contender—every win gets picked apart until you knock off a true heavyweight. Georgia is the big stage, no doubt. That said, stacking wins is what matters. Keep rolling, handle Florida, beat Oklahoma and the chance to prove it in Athens will be waiting.

Arch has the Ohio State game to learn from for the swamp. I think he will be more dialed in and he will have all his skill players back except maybe Mosely. This is a good thing. Wisner, Moore and Baxter are the examples to Arch and Ryan Wingo… who are still green.
