Texas has offered 2026 Georgetown (TX) RB Jett Walker.

I’ve seen Walker in person, he’s a total playmaker at 6-foot-2-inches tall. Walker committed to Minnesota after previously being a member of the West Virginia class.

As a junior, Walker ran for 2,351 yards and 37 TDs on 10.83 yards per carry. He is a big play waiting to happen.

Chad Scott recruited and offered Walker when he was still at West Virginia. Walker’s name is one we brought up back when KJ Edwards committed to Texas A&M, but that was before Texas landed Derrek Cooper.

Did not expect us to raid Minnesota’s class

So, we're losing Cooper?

No. I was just rehashing when Walker was someone we thought Texas would/could look at for a running back in the class.

That KJ Edwards loss still bugs me. I really thought he was a lock. A&M has 2 very talented backs in their 26 class. Just curious, Did we never show any interest in Hatton?
