    I’m not going to tell you how to fan, but people staying to the end of a blowout win against a team that will struggle to make a bowl is probably not something you should build up heartburn over. It doesn’t happen anywhere.

    People are people. I can pull up articles where Lord Saban was bemoaning the late arrivals and early departures of Tide fans amidst the greatest run in college football history. No need to dig out your personal scourging device and start the flagellation.

    Does anyone have video of this? ABC was too busy showing Jaxson Dart’s mug for the Ole Miss/UGA preview to catch the play in live action, and couldn’t be bothered to explain how Texas advanced the ball 40 yards after the 4th and 2 conversion at midfield.

    I think they may drum FSU this year, and they have shown signs of being competitive. Especially if Lagway develops into a real starter for next year.

    I was actually just thinking that this might be the game where we play more Agbo or even Chatman as the second TE. Love what Davis is doing as TE 2, but he’s been negligible as a receiving threat and we could really use OL6 to give Quinn time to pick on their very pedestrian back 7.

    We need to plan to knock Turner’s **** in the dirt early and often. He plays mean and feeds on momentum. Borderline out of control. Our best defense is making them play from behind and letting our ends do work while they play catch up. They’re likely to beat us if we play them in a phone booth and they can lean on their rushing attack and QB’s legs to move the ball.

    Check downs are fine. A staple of good offensive football. It’s the telegraphed, late check down to the flat that’s getting old. Opponents are driving on them, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see one taken the other way in the near future if Quinn doesn’t back defenses off in coverage with completions down the field. The quick game, screens, check downs and bombs can make for a pretty darn solid college offense. Or, if not bombs, legitimate targets 15-20 yards down the field. Take away that and defenses are largely playing within 10 yards of the LOS with impunity because our QB can’t connect deep or won’t stay in the pocket long enough to attempt a throw.

    A step forward or forward and a slide to his left helps Banks out a lot here. Kelvin was beaten, but QE standing stock still on the circle aim point didn’t help matters.

    Penn State is going to get tired of playing bridesmaid pretty soon, and Michigan isn’t going to let Moore bumble around for 2 more years.

    A really great point. Not so much for Sark not calling the big boy throws, but Quinn, not unlike a RB coming back from an ACL tear, not trusting his body to perform without rein-jury or pain. That would jive with his happy feet, short arms, and generally not trying to rip many throws down field.

    Michigan isn’t beating OSU this year unless Will Howard loses his mind again and forgets that the game has a play clock he must abide by.

    I’d honestly like to see more of this kind of thing. Own up to what’s been said. Help the other guy up on the field. Rarely see this anymore. There’s a ton of emotion, energy, media and money associated with college athletics, but ultimately it’s just a game. Beat on each other between the whistles and then back to being humans trying to get through this thing we call life when it’s over.

    Honest question…..how would we know if a pass attempted by DJU was one of his normal efforts or one effected by broken digits on his throwing hand?

    Some players should wear capes, because some players can credibly pull off that look after the snap.

    Probably the same number of us who had us undefeated, double digit margin of victory champions against a road slate of Alabama and Michigan. Which is nobody.

    Makes me wonder if there might be sports divisions based on an NIL range, because the number of schools that can really play this game to it’s fullest extent is quite small.
