  1. Niblack was in the game second half and looked to be working on blocking. He did have the hold that took Cook’s catch off the board in the second half. He’s also been playing on special teams, something billingsley didn’t do. I agree with others he’ll get his chance later to shine in the coming weeks. Loved the formation with Helm and Davis in the backfield with Wisner too. Auburn’s kick looked like it would’ve been blocked if he’d pulled it like he needed to make it. Honestly, that was unfortunate, but he is still 2/3 on the year and will continue to be a plus for us like last season. He’s allowed to miss. What was worse was the “holding” call on Cam that took the TD off the board for Moore. Pass rush is there Davis was running around/uncomfortable all day. It will get home we’re just playing teams in the first 2 games that are quick pass/run first. The interceptions and incompletions were created in part by pass rush speeding Davis up AND great 2ndary play. Michigan had some decent plays but had to work HARD for everything. loved the WR blocking and hustle from the O-line all game especially on that Wingo run. Tackling has been much improved Makuba, Williams, and Taafee are laying the WOOD at safety! Gbenda played well overall but still has lapses of gap discipline, see Edwards longest run of the day. Gbenda gets sucked in and crashed the same gap with Hill. If he stays disciplined the ball spills right to him for an easy tackle. It’s fun to see his growth and he hits hard!
  2. Bevo Blvd always kid friendly and fun!
  3. Hell yes!! I noticed it physical blocking from Moore and Cook too so far!! Love it!! These guys are gonna get theirs too!!
  4. He’s squeaky clean per OU standards. You can lead a mule and schooner to sooner “magic” but you can’t make them “magical”.
  5. Let’s just hope the criminal leaders are patient. Lots of money to be made on playing the spread! Now that everyone can pay players they’ve got to find another underworld activity to engage in. Gambling makes sense to me and Venables is the perfect clean fall guy.
  6. It’s a classic case of sunk cost fallacy. If you pay one qb to be good and he’s not playing well paying more isn’t going to make him better, it’s the Rhett Bohmar effect. I say they start Casey Thompson so he can be the first QB to lose the game for both teams (to be fair to him HE played great in 2021 it was the efense that lost the day there).
  7. When you’re deep into cult life it’s easy to stay deluded. Look McNeese State was a quality win, basically Ohio State of the Lake Charles area, and RC’s alma mater. I’d love to see them get shellacked by Arkansas and Bobby P’s offense they decided not to use last year. Right now 8-4 would be a great outcome for them IMHO.
  8. Haha you forgot the “winning is overrated, we’re building for the future” part of the ride
  9. QE could’ve thrown for 300 if we hadn’t been whooping ass so hard-True The outcome was decided by the halftime-True
  10. Damn!!! Wasn’t expecting Michigan to be that bad. We could’ve put 50 on them if we wanted to keep the gas on. Great complete team win, love the turnovers!!!! Hook’em horns!!!
  11. FIGHT!! May be able to handle his liquor but can’t get a contract HOOK’EM 🤘🐂🤘🐂🤘
  12. Please tell me people are bringing back the Ann Arbor is a whore shirts from the 04 rose bowl?!?!
  13. It’s really Detroit’s fault for sucking so bad there’s no direct flight from Austin’s 1 airport! @Dread-headed Texan we’re still small enough to have just one airport lol😜
  14. Mikey trying to simmer the Aggie faithful
  15. Pleasantly plump and big boned
  16. I agree, I think that was the rope-a-dope of QB starts. We’ll need disciplined DL play and aggressive LB play. The key is for us to get going on offense and force them to play out game not theirs. I really hate the 7.5 point spread. It just gives way too much motivation to them for that level of disrespect at home.
  17. Sorry to hear that for the young man, hoping for a full recovery and solid NFL career. @harveycmd is right the o line seemed to struggle and they didn’t have over 400 yards offense. Kinda surprising seeing as OU likes to run it up like their ancestors did when they were stealing land to make them look legit.
  18. Yessir!!! Let’s do this Horns!!!!! Love your positive attitude and confidence CJ! I haven’t been this anxious and optimistic about a season since 2010…so I am still working through my demons lol!!
  19. All’s well that ends well.
  20. This may be a controversial take, but that Connor Stalions documentary just made me hate the NCAA more and like Stalions. Also, those Netflix documentaries aren't exactly "hard hitting". They made Florida look like they were just a misunderstood team led by a dedicated coach instead of a murdering group of hoodlums led by a narcissistic obsessive asshole. Also, if the NCAA weren’t so far behind and just had helmet comm in place years ago this wouldn’t be an issue. They would’ve had to go the patriots way and video practice.
  21. Nice!!! I believe you’re right! Remember the 5 dollar end zone seats with a Dr. Pepper can?!?! They also used to have the stadium open for folks and we would go down and play games on the field, good times!!
