Who is the Arrieta guy and what has he ever done lol!! Of course they is more BS than normal coming out of CS since Schloss upgraded. He’s mean, he doesn’t care, he’s not a players coach, blah blah blah. If that were so true then they wouldn’t be so butt hurt and glad to be rid him. The more hurt they are the more he clearly meant to them and their program. -

Finally someone getting honest over there!! My theory is he’s never much cared for TAMU even when at TCU and he now gets to stick it to them when he can, but also sees this as an opportunity to stoke this rivalry to a roaring flame 🔥 so we can show the rest of the country that Texas has two of the most intense rivalries in college sports. Second to none!

Houston Street was the last pitcher I faced my sr year in HS. He was a junior, claim to fame: hit a double to right center off him.

That’s what it took?!?! I’ll believe it when I see it. What’re they gonna do to the baseball facility? Build the field in a weather chamber and lower the pressure to Denver altitude when TAMU is hitting and raise it to Death Valley with snow when the other team is hitting? Are they going to really try to outspend Texas on baseball facilities? Maybe they should focus on a sport they can dominate in. I hear Texas doesn’t have a field hockey team yet.

They have a right to feel the way they do and it is justified to a large extent. Unfortunately, the problem with being part of a cult is you can’t and won’t see the root cause for why things happen. This was a betrayal in their eyes yes. However, the root cause of this is that Austin>>College Station, Texas baseball is a premier job ALWAYS no matter what is happening in College Station, Trev Alberts is a worse boss/AD than football analyst, maroon is ugly, and it’s easier to recruit and keep talent in Austin. Always has been always will be. I love that CDC is ratcheting up this rivalry with TAMU it’s honestly what’s best for both schools. It’s tough being little brother but tougher when you’re in denial that you’re little brother. Acceptance is a powerful thing that the Ags still can’t do.

Now I’m so curious how this all went down with CDC and Schloss?!?! Part of me wonders if it is because Trev Alberts is such a prick or if it’s that he and CDC are close an saw an opportunity to win championships at the flagship university in Texas? Whatever it is I’m sure the story is awesome!!
