  1. This is so cool and why I’m a proud, loud, and loyal OTF member!!
  2. So you’re saying it’s Ken Griffey
  3. It’s glorious!!! This literally made me lol, thank you.
  4. He finally committed! 😜
  5. Can’t pay players that don’t produce and leave.
  6. Hump it Aggies, hump it. Just one guy doing a thing to another guy…
  7. This is all I could think of when I was reading this lol. Good for you @Gerry Hamilton, you walk the walk others talk big and carry a small stick!
  8. I will admit I was excited when Herman was hired. He had such a rapid rise and looked to be on the right path to success. I thought he was the man that would bring us back. But his ego and self-centered attitude is what ended up getting him fired. Ironically, some of what happened to him are similar to Sark’s dark years (mainly self-centered egotistical attitude). Yes, we won some games while he was head coach. But at Texas we SHOULD win most of our games, and with Herman it never really felt these guys were playing for each other. Primary example of this was Sam standing alone at the cotton bowl for the eyes of Texas. That was the nail on Herman’s coffin for me. All that controversy surrounding the eyes of Texas AND CDC telling him to fix it was blatant disregard for the fans and the university IMHO.
  9. Too bad we didn’t have a spot for him. He’ll be at SC in 1-2 years once he realizes how much living in Oklahoma truly truly sucks 🤘
  10. Amen!!! How about record versus Maryland? Remember Tommy needed a miracle to squeak past KU in 19 when we were celebrating the 40 anniversary of the 69 national champions.
  11. Okaaaaaayyyyy, that’s like comparing Barry Switzer and Jimmy Johnson’s first few years as cowboys coaches and calling them similar. One is a legend/hall of famed and one carried a gun into the airport.
  12. I would’ve guessed that hit he took on the last play on the sideline lol 😂
  13. Happy Father’s Day all!! Here’s to a great weekend and a strong finish next week!!
  14. @Bobby Burton I saw this thread title and got all giddy thinking that that he might have joined OTF full time to do shows with you, CJ, Rod, Blake, and Gerry!!! What a great interview y’all do such awesome work!!! Hook’em!
  15. Boom!! Great to have this young man!!
  16. I wonder if Brooks wasn’t more of an issue than we realized? He seemed to be out of position and lacked make up speed when thrown at deep especially. Too bad because he has such a great upside and pedigree. We’ve got some young talent and hopefully the room is more cohesive if Brooks truly didn’t want to be here. It’ll be interesting with Nansen to see how he contributes and hopefully we become a more attacking defense making plays on the ball no sitting back in coverage. Lots of question marks for sure on the defensive side. Thankfully Sark prioritizes developing talent so hopefully this group will take a leap forward after learning from the spring game.
  17. Lololol!!! OUCH!!! He handled it well! Love how he just continued the interview and introduced himself!
  18. I’m a huge fan too. @40acres you’re right I’m sure there was some truth in the report but man what suspicious timing. The things mentioned in there sounded like typical things that could occur when not managing blood sugars well and having low blood sugar. I didn’t realize (most probably didn’t either lol) that he is a type 1 diabetic. It’s not easy to control blood sugar and manage the disease for most people especially younger kids. That was the shadiest thing about the report was it felt like shaming him for having diabetes and not managing it perfectly. I’m really rooting for him even more after that report came out and hope he does take it out on the rest of the NFL!
  19. Amen Gerry, amen!! I’m sure the NFL doesn’t love this but personally I couldn’t care less lol!
  20. I hope you wouldn’t be fired and would be given a chance to redeem yourself especially if you’re value exceeds that mistake (which I hope it would). I agree about the social media etc, we all knows that it goes on and that is part of being a public figure in today’s world you’re correct there. What I am speaking about specifically is advocating on here that he should be shamed and ridiculed. That in unacceptable in my opinion especially as fans of a team and school. Errors happen, let’s hope that he come back and redeems himself in the two wins we need today!
  21. Agree, right on and we’ll said @ScottyB!! Just because people think it’s ok to shame and ridicule Blake for his mistake in 2008 doesn’t mean it’s right or ok to do it to him or others!! If we remember correctly the next play was an Earl Thomas mistake undercutting the route to Crabtree and Brown missing the tackle that allowed them to score and win the game. We win as a team and we lose as a team!!
  22. Expectations, yes. Shame and ridicule, no. When you make a mistake at work are you shamed and ridiculed simply because you get paid to be there? I hope not.
  23. Well done lady longhorns!!! Unstoppable, machine on the water!!!
  24. Augie would’ve given the a “hug” with his words lol. I wonder what Gus would’ve said too? Back at it today, lots of opportunities to make up for errors. Should have lots of confidence actually IMO, they held ATM, number 3 in the country, to two runs through 10 2/3 and they needed a gift to get by us. We’re as good as them and we showed it. Win 2 today and let’s put the pressure on the Ags tomorrow!! Hook’em 🤘
  25. We need to execute on routine plays for sure. But suggesting we shame and ridicule a college kid for making an error is the opposite of what makes Texas a better place than our rivals. Is that how you would want to be treated, or your son if he made an error? I hope not. This team has taken the path of most resistance all season and has still earned themselves an opportunity to play for a chance to go to the college World Series. These guys are fighters and I’m excited to see how a they can take an error an turn it into motivation to come back and play like they know they can today. These guys didn’t HIT well at all yesterday and we can argue regardless if the errors that if we hit the ball better we wouldn’t have been in extra innings to begin with. Should we ridicule and shame all those players who didn’t hit well too?
