    $2.2 million (if true) is a stupid amount of money but let tech pay it. I don’t know how far apart Texas and tech were on NIL here, but you can argue that the real life changing wealth comes from getting drafted in the higher rounds. Texas is proving its ability to get players drafted in those rounds. I don’t know how much development or exposure tech can provide here.
