This just expedites the lawsuit. They needed an adverse ruling to proceed. They will hope for an injunction before June 15 (or 22) to declare for the supplemental draft.

I hope a judge shuts this down.  A black eye for college sports if he is reinstated.  I haven't seen if the NCAA has done more than just not reinstate him for this year but hopefully their ruling includes suspending him at least one year and maybe for life.

Members of Texas Tech’s primary NIL collective met this afternoon and discussed holding back roughly half of Sorsby's vacated funds to create an aggressive emergency transfer portal fund.  Texas Tech intends to use its financial leverage to poach a late-graduating or disgruntled backup quarterback from another elite program before the July enrollment deadlines.
