  1. We should meet down at the Gulf of America for a beer and talk about this. 😉
  2. I think it's interesting that Sark considers the tight end to be the second most important player on offense. I think with the emergence of Washington and the addition of Endries (spelling?) tight end might even end up being a strength. I don't expect Nick Townsend to be a factor as a freshman but he is supposed to be an athletic freak for the position. He may come on in the second half of the year like Simmons and Hill did their freshman years.
  3. The passing game is a push for me. Arch still has a lot to learn so you can't say he'll be a huge upgrade over Quinn. Arch also will not have the experienced receivers like Helm and Golden. He will also miss Blue coming out of the backfield. His ability to run and avoid sacks as a obvious huge plus though. I actually think the offensive line has a chance to be better. Texas has four offensive tackles that one day may go in the first or second round. I worry that Hutson won't be able to make the correct line calls early in the season. Losing Barron and Mukuba is huge. They were so clutch and their production won't be replaced. I think their loss may be made up for by even better edge play though. I love the idea that Moore will be coming from different angles on 3rd down if he is moved to LB. The kicking game is so important and will be much better this year. I agree that overall this team is getting better every year. Sark is becoming the master of the portal. I can't wait for this Ohio State game because it's going to tell us so much about this team.
  4. In a geometric world, the triangle reigns supreme.
  5. The truth is that I, like many, have just followed you around from site to site (despite that fact that you apparently hate my politics). I am hopeful that you will be able to keep this current job so we can all just stay here. Try to be more of a team player and quit rocking the boat, and I bet they will let you stay. I have faith in you.
  6. I don't understand why people get so worked up and get tribal with the different websites. Thank goodness there are people like me who are above that nonsense. Except for how I feel about Ketch. I want to kick him in the groin. Thanks for listening.... I feel better now.
  7. Mack did not try to burn the program down. He DID burn the program down. He also recruited arguably the greatest CFB in history. He was very influential. I am glad for 2005, but I would not trust Mack Brown in a business deal. He is a snake oil salesman that win it all once.
  8. There are a lot of good baseball players in this state.
  9. No. It is ridicule.
  10. Woo pig sooie. That is as bad as a male cheerleader.
  11. Lol, that is a pretty good response.
  12. I hate to say this because I know it's almost sacrilegious but Williams should just stick to baseball. Why would anybody subject to their body to years of football when baseball is an option?
  13. That is interesting because the guys in Norman made a lot of good decisions over the last 25 years. The Stoops era was VERY good for them. In the last three years though, they appear to be making some very questionable decisions, such as hiring Venables as HC. Did the brain trust there get old and retire? Are the wheels starting to fall off in Norman?
  14. Mukuba is a 1st round talent imo. He is durable, smart, and shows up for big plays.
  15. I'm a big fan of Klubnik and I think he is ready to win big games but I don't like Clemson's overall talent level. I think they're a top 10 team that will get pushed around on both sides of the ball late in games.
  16. Who is in better shape to win it? Oregon has to rebuild on both sides of the ball and go with an unproven QB. Georgia is ranked outside of the top 5 but I actually think they are the main competition. Notre Dame won't get the QB it needs to compete. Ohio State will be very good again, but the Texas defense is going to rough up Julian Sayin if he gets thrown out there as a freshman. Penn State will be good again, but 2025 NCAA football is a QB's driven game. Allar is not the guy. LSU may surprise people. They killed it in the portal. Almost every top team except Texas and Georgia has to retool at QB. Texas should have the top defense in CFB. Because of the way Manning prepared himself for this moment, Texas' portal additions at DT, the dynamic duo of Simmons and Hill, and the steadily improving OL, Texas should be no. 1 in the preseason polls.
  17. Thank you for recognizing my IQ. This team can absolutely win it all. I think they should win it all. There is no reason to avoid the discussion.
  18. No, you are wrong. The Longhorns are CLEARLY a top 4 team. This kind of speculation is warranted.
  19. Aggy says Softball is a more important sport.
  20. Yeah, I noticed. DBU is back. They were not back before. Some call that a come back. Carry on.
  21. The fact that the kid had a conscience makes this even more heartbreaking, from the initial accident to the very end. Good kids sometimes make terrible mistakes.
  22. I'm sorry, but Nico is not that special of a quarterback. I will bet there are five good game managers that would love to play at Tennessee that the volunteers could use at quarterback. They need to give him an ultimatum, and if he doesn't agree then cut him loose.
  23. LOL, like Indiana has not been cheating at recruiting forever. That is like holding a grudge against Lance Armstrong.
  24. How can you not love Sampson? He loves the kids and they love him back. He is due.
