    Blue should have had a monster year but his fumbles derailed things. He is peaking at the right time for sure. If Blue has a huge game against AZ St, it could happen.

    Be careful...you might get your wish. Howard is pretty good in that offense.

    I think Norton and Lole transferred after Spring ball. I like that model so we can see what the young guys can do, but the big disadvantage is that the late transfers can't come from a SEC school. I realize that folks are worried about the interior defensive line, but Texas is in WAY better shape than in some years past. January, Hills, Terry, and Sharma are all big guys who can run well. Sharma may be 325 to 330 by next fall while being much stronger and leaner. I know the staff wants to add at least two more veterans, but if UT is forced to go with the guys they have, I think the result might really surprise people. The talent evaluation by Pete K and company has resulted in big humans on DL that can really move. I am excited about these young guys.

    Mitchell has issues. I hope he gets his act together and learns to be successful. Refusing to enter games and not controlling caloric intake puts him on a very short leash I bet.

    I have dealt with the same issues. I did not have the character and will that it takes when I was 19 years old. That is why when a guy like Kelvin Banks or Tre Wisner comes along I really respect and appreciate them. I wish J Cook and J Bledsoe well. I hope they don't wake up in 30 years wishing they had stuck it out at Texas. Greatness is hard.

    When you see athletic freaks passed on the depth chart by Freshmen it is a reminder that football if 90% mental. It is about character and will. Shying away from the challenge is the easy way out.

    Goosby's play against Aggy should mean something. That kid is the next great OT for UT. He is a 1st rounder after the 26 season if he stays healthy imo.

    I honestly don't know. They are talking about it on Texags. They claim to know, but I have no way of knowing if the post/poster is legit. If Gerry says it is 50/50, maybe even Fasusi doesn't know yet (??).

    I really don't like Mack Brown. His wife makes good cookies though.

    I feel bad for the kid. There was obviously nobody in his life that taught him the really important lessons about character and quitting. He really will have to learn the hard way now.

    I actually think Quinn will be better in the pro game than college. His problem is and always will be staying healthy, but he has the ability to be an NFL starter.

    I am reading rumors that Ewers might return for another year. Is this a real possibility? Is there even a way to discuss this this without angering the crowd?

    What a terrible mistake to make. I hope he can recover. Nobody likes a quitter- especially NFL scouts.

    Sellers is 6'3", 240 lbs, and runs a true 4.5. He would knock you in your ass, lol.
