  1. Thank you Blake! Any pitchers that can throw 94+mph?
  2. That's fantastic! 🤞🤘 🤘🏈 Only 2 Longhorns have ever won the Nagurski Trophy, DJohnson LB (2004) and Orakpo Edge (2008). Only 3 CBs have ever won it.
  3. For recruiting, I want Florida to lose by 31 if we are going to win out. Please let me know if we are winning out.
  4. Appreciate it Gerry! Good stuff! Agree with it all but 1 possible and unlikely issue... Arguably Penn St has no margin for error and needs to win out to be certain to make the CFP. It's a grey area imo. A 10-2 Penn St might not be deserving of the CFP. The SEC may have a better 10-2 team with a better resume than a Penn St that stumbled with a late season upset. Penn St getting upset by Maryland or Minnesota late in the season would be a concerning loss should the SEC end with 6 teams with a 10-2 or better record. I'm not impressed with the Illinois win by Penn St. All 6 SEC teams in contention would be favored to beat Illinois.
  5. There are scenarios for a 10-2 Texas to either make the CFP or miss the CFP. I believe it is likely 1 or more 10-2 SEC teams won't make the CFP. A 10-2 Texas would have the same overall record as 4-6 other SEC teams. The CFP will have 3 or 4 or 5 teams from the SEC. TX, Bama, UGA, Ole Miss, aTm and TN are in contention. Two games to go. 11-1 Texas would expectedly be in the CFP even if they lost the SEC CG. Texas has only 1 path to the SEC CG. Texas must win out to go 11-1 and they are 100% in the SEC CG. If they go 10-2, Texas can't make the SEC CG based on tie-breakers from what I've read.
  6. SP+ may get it right in 4 weeks but I doubt that 12 team projection holds up well as more games are played.
  7. Is Hilson aware Ags have historically underachieved and choked for decades and they did it tonight with penalties, turnovers, missed run fits, missed tackles, explosives given up and dumb coaching decisions to go for it deep in their own territory?
  8. Hope you found your favorite jerky for the trip. You earned it. Appreciate the recruiting and football coverage.
  9. Dumb. Not you Blake, you're great. Just ESPN Forecast on UGA. Surprised UGA is not higher. Every sportbook I've seen has UGA favored or equal to TX to win the SEC.
  10. What is his approximate height and weight?
  11. I don't believe so. Read Overall PFF TX OL vs UGA Banks: 83.4 Conner: 67.5 Majors: 67.2 Campbell: 56.1 Williams: 51.1 From CJ Vogel pass blocking... PFF grades vs. Georgia: LT Kelvin Banks: 81.7 pass block grade, 1 sack and 2 pressures allowed LG Hayden Conner: 79.4 pass block grade, 0 sacks and 2 pressures allowed C Jake Majors: 82.0 pass block grade, 0 sacks and 1 pressure allowed RG DJ Campbell: 84.5 pass block grade, 0 sacks and 0 pressures allowed (42 pass block reps) RG Cole Hutson: 45.8 pass block grade, 0 sacks and 2 pressures allowed (21 pass block reps) RT Cam Williams: 55.5 pass block grade, 1 sack and 5 pressures allowed
  12. The right side of the line had the bad PFF grades. Banks LT wasn't perfect but he did really well and got a high grade. Banks will be drafted very high for good reasons after going against elite edges and pass blocking very well for 3 years.
  13. TX 34 UGA 30 F/OT
  14. I have 2 left for UGA. Lower Level. I'm in Austin. DM me if interested. Hook Em!
  15. I'm for it. Silas saved us on that fumble. That was a JWhit play from start to finish.
  16. Texas 34 OU 13 But would not be surprised if we score in the 40s. If we can run the ball effectively, we should score in the 40s. OU might have a couple of explosives and get a late 4Q score but I would be surprised if they can keep up with us.
  17. Prolific Midland Lee championship running back. Good on them to recognize and honor Cedric Benson and his family in this way. At Texas, El Ced got about all a runner could get on every carry given his abilities. He ran with such good pad level to take on defenders but stayed balanced so he could still move one way or the other if needed. Appreciated his effort, vision, technique and toughness. I can still remember replaying his TX runs in slow motion and watching his subtle moves to slip a defender or power between two defenders to fight for the extra inches. Cedric Benson was a joy to watch. RIP.
  18. 4 together for Georgia. Lower level. I'm in Austin. DM if iinterested. Hook Em!
  19. The hype was unfair to Moore. Moore had 11.5 sacks of his 14 sacks vs weaker teams (3 sacks vs 8-5 Texas St, 3.5 sacks vs 4-8 UAB, 3 sacks vs 2-10 East Carolina and 2 sacks vs 6-7 Rice). Moore got zero sacks vs the better teams like TN, USF and Tulane. Unrealistic to expect double digit sacks from Moore vs a tougher TX schedule. Our 5* true freshman Simmons is more explosive. Simmons is already our best pass rusher. Simmons already has 4 sacks in 5 games while playing fewer snaps than Moore!
  20. Hope Banks goes ahead of the LSU OT Campbell. Banks has outplayed him this year.
  21. Agree. Vasek is healthy and looking good. Needs more snaps. Sark said the same earlier this season. We have played 4 games. Our best possible rotation vs the SEC looks like.. JACK: Sorrell or Vasek or Burke BUCK Burke or Simmons Moore Finkley I realize Burke is playing more Jack and Moore is playing fine at Buck but Burke played Buck all last year. In 2023, Burke (13 games) was better than Moore (4 games in 2024) based on snaps per production and disruptive plays. Burke has continued that trend in 2024 with his 4 games including better PFF grades. In limited snaps, Vasek has also been more productive based on snaps per production and PFF than Moore. Simmons is our best Buck situational pass rusher. Burke 41 tackles, 9 TFL, 5.5 sacks, 0 INT, 0 PD, 1 FF, 1 FR 0 TD (13 games) Burke 6 tackles, 2 TFL 0 sacks, 1 INT, 1 PD, 0 FF, 0 FR 1 TD (4 games) Vasek 4 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 sacks, 0 INT, 0 PD, 0 FF, 0 FR 0 TD (4 games) Sorrell 7 tackles, 2 TFL, 0 sacks, 0 INT, 0 PD, 0 FF, 0 FR 0 TD (4 games) Simmons 11 tackles, 3 TFL, 2 sacks, 0 INT, 0 PD, 0 FF, 0 FR 0 TD (4 games) Moore 7 tackles, 0 TFL, 0 sacks, 0 INT, 0 PD, 0 FF, 0 FR 0 TD (4 games) Finkley 4 tackles, 0 TFL, 0 sacks, 0 INT, 0 PD, 0 FF, 0 FR 0 TD (4 games)
