  1. This guy was chosen over Neto because he practices good! circle of trust!
  2. If you don't want negative stories about you then play better and be better. That goes for Arch, Sark, anyone else on the team, and the team as a whole. You all loved the press when they were hyping our players and their comments to them.
  3. Fasusi in his starts with OU has graded out highly. Mills would be the best guard on this team as a true freshman.
  4. He played better in games than Stroh, Stroh practiced better. Staff valued practice over games and benched hiM because of that. My guess is Neto vented about being screwed over when game performance proved he should be starting but he’s not in this lame “circle of trust”
  5. Nah, Hutson needs to be at LG or bench. If we lose this weekend the whole line should be shifted to young. Baker isn’t that good either. Goosby - Hutson/Kibble - Robertson/Cruz - Campbell - Brooks/Baker It’s a shame that Flood but most likely Sark did Neto the way they did. So what he didn’t practice as well as Stroh because he damn sure played better in games than Stroh How do you go into a bye week knowing what you have on the line and make no changes in practice leading into Florida game? Just malpractice.
  6. I’d add the term athletic into the “tough athletic humans” portion of this post and you are spot on.
  7. A his team has great talented depth too, like what are you talking about? This philosophical change is similar to Mack deciding to completely change the offense after the 09 season. Literally broke what didn’t need fixing.
  8. This site also said the offense looked great. I’d trust a guy that sees everything than just a 20 min view window. No disrespect to Bobby or OTF.
  9. Fall practice was the same as spring in this relation. This is from someone who is inside the facility that sees more than just a media window:
  10. Nick Saban and all his former players say their practices were harder and tougher physically than the games they played. you seriously think not hitting and not practicing as physical doesn’t affect you in games? S&C hasn’t been an issue until this year and it points more toward Sarks philosophical change to go not as physical or hard in practice than it does our S&C program somehow falling off a cliff.
  11. And it could explain why we look less physical than we do. It seems his philosophical change and approach to practice may be the reason we look the way we do physically and most likely mentally. CFB ain’t the NFL brother you don’t have 17 games and make it as a wild card with a 10-7 record(this would be like 9-4 in college). Also the mentality and maturity of a CFB isn’t that of a pro player From a March interview: As a result, the Longhorns will have fewer contact periods and more teach periods with more controlled scrimmages instead of going for 140 plays. “Just a little bit of a shift philosophically, as I touched on even back in December, actually, when I first brought this up. The NFL model is such that I think that they teach really well, and it’s something as I’ve studied those guys and I’ve gotten around them here the past few years — you guys know I like to do that in the springtime is go see NFL teams — is making sure we’re teaching really well, making sure that we’re developing and growing as a program, and not just our young players, but really developing our older players to be really dialed into the details of what we’re trying to do. And so again, I feel like you have to in this day and age, be adaptable and not be afraid of change and I think this is an area where we can grow as a program to be better suited for the challenges of the schedule as we know what it was here last season,” Sarkisian said.
  12. This is the positivity thread, if you want to DM me I’ll tell you why.
  13. If he was that good he’d be coaching at not a QC.
  14. Can you please bring positivity to this thread. Thanks.
  15. Why would I hijack this thread? The team is doing great, sark seems like he has it figured out and arch manning has really turned the corner!
  16. To be fair our nose was so high in the air coming into this season that we should have it shoved in the pile of crap we’ve laid.
  17. No the issue is the offensive staff is passive so in turn we get passive players. Outside of this game defense has been physical and stout for 3 years now
  18. No decision yet on who the new play caller and OL coach will be. We will be patiently waiting for white smoke!
  19. The worst eval is having Hutson be beat out by Campbell after a year of starting as a freshmen and thinking that guy is starting center material after he’s been on campus for 4 years.
  20. Crazy you continue to have this attitude when the product on the field is atrocious. Like dude come on, use your eyes and be objective. Or should we continue to “trust the coaches” that are 100% responsible for this mess?
  21. I was at this conclusion after week 2.
  22. They are a problem. Livingstone is our only play maker. Wingo can only catch balls thrown at him. He runs poor routes. mosely at this point is unknown. The fact that Niblett gets as many reps as he does is a problem. Either way they need to infuse more guys with play maker ability into the offense at receiver and again Wingo is not a play maker.
  23. I think the only thing that might infuse it but would actually be growing pains is roll with this kind of lineup Goosby - Kibble - Cruz - Campbell - Brooks just go young across and maybe those guys play with more fire, athleticism, and leverage. I would say Neto at LG but he’s quit on this coach because of the coaches arrogance in playing an inferior Stroh. Do the same with the WR group.
  24. Weve been pushed around offensively, not really defensively until yesterday. The problem is the offensive staff is soft and that trickles down to the players.
  25. There is no point in firing flood if you’re not bringing in a play calling QB coach/OC. Otherwise as Bobby says you’re just reshuffling the titanic deck chairs.
