    He lost a year of development. He basically showed up 2 weeks into Ohio St camp. The most important thing a QB needs is game time and he missed a whole season of that in HS after missing half Hill junior year of HS with you guessed it, an injury.

    I am of the opinion the story put out at the combine was them trying to cover up his poor play by using the injury as an excuse.

    It does appear that he was too loyal to a struggling QB this final year. Is what it is at this point and we can't come back. But there is a big what if with this team completely due to QB position.

    How can you say this that he'd have higher draft stock when his entire career says he would have gotten hurt again next year. Just be thankful he isn't back and we can move on from a average at best QB.
