  1. As much as I love KD as a Texas fan I wouldn’t want him on the Spurs as a Spurs fan.
  2. Was coming here to post a picture of Nico lol
  3. I wouldn’t be surprised if college game day also goes there especially for Corso’s last show because that is where the first show was as well.
  4. Your question is exactly why I wanted to do this. It's an interesting discussion! I didn't know much about Halas prior to putting this together this morning. He won but gosh dog he seemed like an unbearable person that no one would ring in because he owned the team. lol
  5. Is he related to Mike?
  6. I researched this once and I believe Jimbo was the last to do it in 2013 as you noted. Prior to that I believe it was Steve Spurrier and Tom Osbourne in the 90s. There is some debate about Pete Carroll at USC in 2003/2004 but I couldn't find anything definitive regarding that but I do know that Norm Chow was his OC. So you essentially have only 3 coaches in the past 35 years to do it, 4 if you include Pete Carroll.
  7. While LaVell's teams had really good offenses he cut his teeth and came up on the defensive side as he was BYU's defensive coordinator before becoming HC.
  8. Hamstrings linger, it's what they do.
  9. Last 10 National Champions(HC Specialty(OFEI/DFEI Ranking): Notes Ohio St - Offense(1/2): Offense ranked higher with offensive coach Michigan - Offense(5/1): Defense ranked higher with offensive coach Georgia - Defense(1/1): Tie Georgia - Defense (3/1): Defense ranked higher with defensive coach Alabama - Defense(1/17): Offense ranked higher with defense coach LSU - Defense(1/11): Offense ranked higher with defensive coach Clemson - Offense(5/1): Defense ranked higher with offensive coach Alabama - Defense(7/2): Defense ranked higher with defensive coach Clemson - Offense(2/9): Offense ranked higher with offensive coach Alabama - Defense(17/1): Defense ranked higher with defensive coach The way it looks you basically want a defensive coach or a top defense to win a national title with a HC. The caveat of that being you have historic type offense such as 2019 LSU and 2020 Bama. The other caveat being you're just like, 2018 Clemson, 2021/2022 Georgia, and 2024 Ohio St and just an all around great team offensively and defensively
  10. 2024 CFP Teams(Team - HC Specialty(OFEI Ranking/DFEI Ranking): Notes Oregon - Defense(2/15) - Offense was better with defensive HC Georgia - Defense(13/12) - Relatively even Boise St - Defense(12/32) - Offense was better with defensive HC Arizona St - Offense(7/31) - Offense was better with offensive HC Texas - Offense(18/3) - Defense was better with offensive HC Penn St - Offense(5/4) - Relatively even Notre Dame - Defense(9/1) - Defense was better with defensive coach Ohio St - Offense(1/2) - Relatively even(easy to see why they came out as national champs) Tennessee - Offense(34/11) - Defense was better with offensive coach Indiana - Offense(4/20) - Offense was better with offensive coach SMU - Offense(41/14) - Defense was better with offensive coach Clemson - Offense(15/27) - Offense was better with offensive coach
  11. This was an interesting topic on the live stream just now so I'll do a quick dive in the NFL and college going by wins and winning percentage of the top 10 coaches in each category. NFL Wins Don Shula - Defense Bill Belichick - Defense George Halas - Both? Any Reid - Offensive Tom Landry - Defensive Curly Lambeau - Offensive Paul Brown - Offensive Chuck Noll - Defensive Marty Shottenheimer - Defensive Dan Reeves - Offense Winning Percentage - Will only include coaches with 10+ seasons as HC John Madden - Defense Vince Lombardi - Offense George Allen - Defense Ray Flaherty - Offense George Halas - Both Don Shula - Defense Paul Brown - Offense Tony Dungy - Defense Andy Reid - Offense George Seifert - Defense Wins: 5/10 are defensive oriented coaches, 4/10 are offensive oriented, 1/10 being both because he was a severe micromanager and owned the team? Winning Percentage: 5/10 are defensive oriented, 4/10 are offensive oriented, see above for Halas(LOL) College Wins Joe Paterno - Both? Bobby Bowden - Offense Bear Bryant - Defense Pop Warner - Offensive Nick Saban - Defensive Mack Brown - Offense LaVell Edwards - Defense Tom Osbourne - Offense Lou Holtz - Defense Frank Beamer - Defense Winning Percentage Knute Rockne - Offense Frank Leahy - Offense Urban Meyer - Offense George Woodruff - Offense Barry Switzer - Offense Tom Osbourne - Offense Fielding Yost - Offense Percey Haughton - Offense Robert Neyland - Defense Bud Wilkinson - Both? Wins: 5/10 defensive, 4/10 offensive, 1/10 both with Joe Pa coaching both sides as an assistant? Winning Percentage: 8/10 are offensive, 1/10 are defense, and Bud was both? Maybe y'all can help me how with how to classify him. When you get winning percentage in college is where it gets completely off track and I believe that has to do with some of these guys being coaches before the forward pass was introduced. Feel free to add your theories here if you'd like as to why this may be? Also if I got any of the designations incorrect please feel free to let me know.
  12. It's funny to see Texas fans celebrate him doing that while also rioting when the OU softball team does the same thing lol.
  13. CDC’s bosses…CDC’s top guy was Dykes
  14. Is OTF a geriatric unit? Happy bday
  15. He should tell his agent to keep his damn mouth shut.
  16. Sounds like SEC would be smart to leverage ESPN for more to get their pay in line with BIG and their deals especially since ESPN is their only partner.
  17. Has Turntine looked into the possibility of a tapeworm?
  18. Except Texas tech
  19. This is technically correct because CDC didn’t choose Sark.
  20. Doubt it, he plays a position that isn’t as sought after as a QB, he has regressed the past two years, and teams won’t want the baggage.
