    Florida star freshman WR Dallas Wilson is expected to be sidelined multiple weeks with a leg injury. Florida is also without Eugene Wilson who was held out of practice earlier in the week. Two of their top four wide receivers.

    The Texas Football team is moving into the completely renovated locker room in Moncrief. Moncrief + the locker rooms underwent renovations this summer and finally, the Longhorns are back in their home in the facility.

    There has been a new scholarship extended inside the Texas Football program and it goes to LB Marshall Landwehr! Landwehr, a senior out of Highland Park High School, becomes the 85th scholarship on the Texas roster by my count.

    “The defense is ahead of the offense, and I’m okay with that.” Sarkisian says that’s historically been the case with his teams early on in camp. Right now, the defense has the edge but Sark says he is hopeful the gap closes here soon as camp progresses.

    “Emmett, I’m impressed with. He is a bigger guy that you think. Even for me.” Sark says he’s 210 pounds. “everything about him is probably better than you think.”

    Today was a heavy red zone day for the offense today.

    Sarkisian says Manny Muhammad had a few picks yesterday. Jelani McDonald had one today, and Warren Roberson made plays. Sark says the defensive secondary is doing a fine job of playing the ball.

    Sarkisian says he left practice yesterday and QB Arch Manning had the offense on the field running one final walk through. Sark adds that is just who he is.

    Sarkisian with heavy praise for the SEC’s physicality and says he feels like his team came up with solid physicality today in full pads.
