  1. Absolutely. This program isn't thriving under the leadership of Pierce. 20-28 vs. SEC in his career at Texas. He's been given pillow soft regionals and didn't even have to face the #1 seeds from the paired regionals in two of those 3 CWS appearences. Losing record in Omaha (3-6) with 5 embarassing losses including another 20 K performance, while not even really competing in the two appearences were he went 0-2, outscored 34-11 in those games. Every season his team's at Texas have had obvious holes, and he has never managed to have a complete pitching staff. Last year, he had 3 options, this year he has 1. Coaching turnover after almost every season.
  2. @Gerry Hamilton is Aldridge's 15-year old son any kind of prospect. He looks to be in the 6'4" range right now.
  3. He always underseeds us. There was a good 2-3 week stretch where he was projecting us out of the tournament all together. He's really not that great at predicting the seeds at all.
  4. This program is a joke lead by the joke of a head coach.
  5. TCU's loss really hurts. It takes away our chance for another Q1 win, and OU's best player today hurt his ankle late. That is on top of OU being a bad match-up against us because our athletes are better, while KSU and Texas played a brick fest two weeks ago and KSU is fighting for their tournament lives. They win 2+ in the Big 12 tournament and they might make it in. I don't think getting ISU in the quarters is any easier than playing UH in the quarters because ISU will have a shitton more fans in KC than UH, and has our 4 road losses can attest, the officials screw us badly in hostile environments. Opponents have nearly shot 2-1 FTs in our road conference losses, something like 170 to 90.
  6. Isn't he the one that sees himself as a one and done while the coaching staff thinks he will need 2+ years in college.
  7. Mack and his coaching staffs were awful at scouting and relied too heavily on recruiting rankings.
  8. The best part of Pierce taking over the pitching, he can no longer throw anyone else under the bus. He owns it.
  9. Going to be interesting to see how OSU adjusts to having to play more than 1 game a season with the expanded B1G. I mean holy poop that OOC schedule is embarrassing.
  10. So what would say about a coach on his 3rd team that had a 205-140 (.594) overall record, with a 2-4 tournament record was?
  11. More to the point, you can't turn over your roster every year in the portal. If you take a Kelvin Sampson approach you will have a better baseline. The only HS kid that signed with Texas and has been the program more than one year is Alex Anamewke and Mitchell, that just isn't sustainable long term. compare that to Houston who has Shead, Sharp, Roberts, Francis, Arceneaux, and Walker. All key contributors though Arceneaux and Walker have been injured this season.
  12. Season is over if Disu tore his ACL like it looked like.
  13. Terry really needs to bring in 1-2 guys like him in next few classes. We need big athletes for the SEC.
  14. The Big 12 can make a lot of teams look inconsistent.
  15. Mitchell is going in the 1st round now with his 4.35, Worthy probably still goes in the 2nd because of his hands.
  16. Terry has found his closing lineup. Hunter, Abmas, Weaver, Cunnigham, and Disu have the potential to obilerate teams offensively, and the defense wasn't bad today. That lineup for the most part closed out OSU 29-13 in the last 12 minutes. I think a similar lineup was putting the screws to Tech before Brock got thrown out.
  17. That's a very good time for 200+ pounds. Texas S&C showing out at the combine so far.
  18. Damn Murphy and Sweat.
  19. Just have to laugh my ass off at any predictions of aggy having a winning record in league play. They are going to be awful next year.
  20. With how this team has played lately, they would probably lose to OSU and then go beat Baylor. I think 10-8 is doable now, Baylor doesn't play great defense and is missing a key rotational player. They also play KU on Saturday at home then have the quick turnaround on Monday.
  21. Team is locked in defensively right now. Finally showing some energy on the road.
  22. Man we lack size both vertically and horizontally on this team. Can't wait for this season to be over so we can say good-bye to Hunter and Mitchell.
