  1. Will be interesting to see how Ole Miss plays this weekend in Norman. If they lose, which they shouldn't, because OU can't score against any defense with a semblance of talent, then the players are mailing it in because they know.
  2. I would love for him to come back. We need true OTs.
  3. Interesting. You are saying Sarkisian and Manning aren't prepared at all and make no adjustments in game. That's not the flex you think it is.
  4. Nope, the clear #1 problem with this offense is Arch Manning. There is more than enough evidence of him having clean pockets and wide open WRs and him delivering uncatachable passes consistently. He also has no idea how to read a defense post snap which causes him to hold onto the ball which allows the pressures to get home. His ability to make off platform throws is elite, but it's hard to say the WRs can't get separation when the opposing defense knows what we are doing and they aren't concerned with our QB or running game. Seriously, he completed 3 passes in the 2nd half of the game last night. It's clearly him, and that's not excusing other things that are fundamentally wrong with the offense, but everything starts with him. Wisner may not be a top 3 round RB in the NFL draft, but he's clearly the best player on offense and was the only returning 1K SEC RB. He also won the last two games against OU nearly by himself. He's clearly a net positive for the offense, which is more than I can say for the only guy you actually refuse to blame completely.
  5. If Arch completes the 1st pass and the last pass of the game, Texas wins. Manning still can't complete the crossing route as Wingo was wide open again and it wasn't close. Endries is wide open and Manning tries to drill a pass to him. If he puts any touch on it, Endries scores a TD. This is easy stuff and our QB is incapable of making the play. The big plays he made last week against OU were off schedule plays, he didn't make a throw from the pocket within the confines of the offense that turned into an explosive play.
  6. You are missing my point. Forcing a coach to make changes he doesn't think he needs to make never works out. If anyone really forced Sarkisian to hire someone he doesn't think is needed, you should just fire him and start over.
  7. Does it matter? If a head coach can't see that the problem is him and accept it, you don't want that coach leading your program.
  8. If Vanderbilt and aggy embarrass us at home, his seat will get incredibly hot.
  9. and not just plays but their own offense. Sarkisian's offense needs to go. He doesn't attack the enitre field and it takes consistently excellent execution to make it run successfully.
  10. Which is why he needs to give up control of the offense and fire Milwee and Flood. Bring in someone with fresh ideas on how to run modern spread offenses with his personnel OL coach. His version of the west coast/BYU offense just isn't a thing anymore unless you have elite talent all over the field. Sarkisian's clock management is also abysmal, and has been since he became the coach. I can't think of a head coach that has won a championship while also serving as the primary playcaller for offense.
  11. Yeah, that is just sad. He needs to pretend his team is a security guy that is getting too close to him or touched him.
  12. Go look at their recruiting rankings. Flood's desire to have big humans doesn't mean they are good. Alabama recruited big humans that were also good OL prospects.
  13. Fundamentals and between the ears. He doesn't process at an acceptable level for a 3rd year QB, and his fundamentals when setting up are abysmal. Any other name of the back of his jersey would have him riding the bench by now.
  14. I haven't seen this many stupid and useless cliches since Nuke Laloosh made the show.
  15. Your anger needs to be directed to the $10M man that is likely getting fired in two years, unless he changes almost everything with his side of the ball in the offseason.
  16. He's hurt an we have no one behind him right now. He hasn't been healthy since game one. Wisner was clearly on a pitch count tonight, because Sarkisian thought the offense took multiple steps forward in the 2nd half of the OU game. Manning and the OL reverted back to the Florida game.
  17. Sarkisian needs to do the honorable thing. His offense is ancient like Jimbo's. None of our freshmen skill players ever do anything unless we have no other players on the roster. He makes it impossible to execute at a high level. The best play call was the pass to Moore in the flat, but then Moore ran out of bounds. The biggest question I have is your QB is struggling the entire 2H and you never give him a simple read and look to a skill player on the move to give him confidence. Sarkisian wants to play in a phone book with 12 personnel when the OL is trash and the TEs can't consisently execute the blocking schemes.
  18. Manning isn't ready, the OL in year 5 is complete trash, and it's hard to tell if we have any speed on offense because the first two factors are dragging everyone else down. It's pretty apparent both Flood and Milwee need to be fired at this point.
  19. Indiana telling the rest of college football, not on our watch.
  20. If he doesn't lose to Kentucky, he's in the playoffs last year, and it was a home game. He also would have played Texas in the SECCG. He also lost late to Florida as well, but that was in the always tough SEC road.
  21. The problem with Kiffin is he failed miserably twice in high expectation jobs. Florida would be another high expectation job, whereas at Ole Miss he sets the expectations.
  22. Niblett is a gagdet player, Simon is a true freshman, and the other 3 are all injured are coming off injuries. We need bodies for practice.
  23. Lot easier for Sarkisian to get them focus on a game by game basis, because the next loss likely knocks us out of the playoffs.
