  1. Gambill flies out to right. You could see the wind impacted it a little bit, but Gumbo settled under it to get the Longhorns out of the inning. Two runs on two hits and a runner left on base for the Sooners in the second.
  2. Branch moves to third on Walk's groundout to second. Two outs and a runner on third for OU as Gambill brings the top of the order back up for the Sooners.
  3. Branch slaps one down the left-field line just out of Becerra's reach. It's a two-run double for Branch and the Sooners have the early lead, 2-0.
  4. Dickerson's sacrifice bunt moves the runners into scoring position with one out. Nice job by Harrison to field the ball off the turf and go to first for the out.
  5. Harrison has only gotten seven of his 17 pitches over for strikes. He walked LaChance to open the second and just gave up a single to Blair.
  6. Becerra strikes out looking to end the inning. The Longhorns get a hit and leave two runners on base in a scoreless first.
  7. Skip Johnson heads to the mound with Johnson behind in the count to Temo, 2-0.
  8. A-Rod comes through, driving a two-out single back up the middle and into center field. Tinney goes from first to third, making it first and third with two outs for Becerra.
  9. I'm sure the broadcast has mentioned it, but Johnson has been dealing with control issues lately. He just walked Tinney with one out in the bottom of the first.
  10. With two outs and a runner on second, Jaxon Willits is retired on a ground ball to first base. Borba steps on the bag and the OU threat is wiped out.
  11. The call is upheld. Johnson is out. The Sooners ran themselves into an out, just like the first inning last night.
  12. Johnson might get lucky here by getting his hand under Becerra's glove.
  13. Wow. What a throw by Tinney to nail Johnson at third base on a double steal. They'll review it, but that was a helluva play by Tinney.
  14. Camden Johnson with a one-out ground-rule double to left. Pack gave chase, but it kept slicing and landed fair just inside the left-field line.
  15. Three pitches into the game and Harrison gets Trey Gambill to line one to Doza. It's a 4-3 putout for the first out of the game.
  16. Pretty cool that they're bringing back the Comets' name.
  17. The wind is blowing in pretty stiffly from the north. Home runs and extra-base hits will be earned tonight.
  18. I don't know what they'd have to pay him, but I wish they'd let Ray Benson do the National Anthem every game!
