  1. The third time through the order against Montgomery was the charm for Texas.
  2. Texas has the lead. Mendoza almost leaves the yard, but it's an RBI single that scores Tinney. The Longhorns are out in front, 2-1.
  3. Rodriguez hits one on a line to right. It's deep enough to score Robbins and tie the game, 1-1.
  4. Interesting. Tulo is using a rare offensive timeout to talk to Rodriguez and Mendoza.
  5. Becerra draws a walk on a pitch clock violation. The bases are loaded with one out for A-Rod. UCSB isn't happy about it, but Schloss was off the steps in a hurry once he realized the clock hit zero.
  6. Pack's flyout to left kept carrying. It was deep enough to get Robbins to third base.
  7. Tinney with a 113 mph single to center. That's consecutive base hits to open the sixth, setting the table for Pack. Two on with nobody out.
  8. Robbins goes the other way, leading off the sixth with a single to right.
  9. Riojas is at 77 pitches through five innings. The solo home run his allowed in the first is the only run for either side.
  10. Ruger's sixth strikeout of the game puts him at 300 for his career. He's one of four active Division I pitchers with 300 or more career strikeouts.
  11. He's incredibly streaky. He got hot at the end of the regular season and he's cooled off in the regional.
  12. Larson laces a one-out single the other way. That brings Borba up with a man on and one out.
  13. Mendoza gave it a ride, but it's a flyout to right at wall to lead off the fifth.
  14. A great defensive play by Borba ends the fourth. Riojas has settled in since giving up the home run.
  15. This game is hard enough without umpires trying to impact it more than they should.
