  1. It's a six-pitch first inning for Volantis. He let the defense work behind him and retired UC Davis in order in the top of the first.
  2. Volantis is working quickly. Four pitches, two outs.
  3. Wooldridge weakly pops out to left on Volantis' second pitch of the game.
  4. FWIW, Jonah took BP and was a full participant in pregame warmups.

  7. The Longhorns go for the sweep on a sunny Sunday afternoon at Disch-Falk Field. Dylan Volantis is on the hill for his 2026 debut.

  15. Becerra drives one to left. Gumbo scores easily from second on a single by Becerra. It's a 9-2 lead for the Longhorns. Becerra is on second with no outs and Pack is up, looking to build on a 2-for-2 night.
  16. Borba scores on a balk, Gumbo advances to second. Texas has an 8-2 lead.
  17. Gumbo lines one to left. It's first and third with no outs for Becerra.
  18. A walk and a wild pitch by Grubbs put a runner in scoring position. Robbins couldn't catch up to a drive to left-center by Wooldridge, scoring Hirschkorn from second. It's a 7-2 lead for the Longhorns, two outs and a runner in scoring position for UC Davis in the top of the seventh.
