Robbins strikes out, putting the Longhorns up by three runs heading to the eighth and here comes Sam Cozart. -
After almost running Texas out of the inning, Mendoza turns a stolen base at third into a run when Krodel's pickoff attempt goes into foul territory. It's a 6-3 lead.

Borba reaches base for the second consecutive plate appearance.

A-Rod with a single and then a Mendoza double down the line makes it 5-3. That's a huge insurance run.

A 5-3 groundout makes it a 1-2-3 seventh for Burns. It looks like Texas will give the ball to Sam Cozart for the last six outs.

Becerra flies out to center, ending the inning. But two runs on three hits put the Longhorns in front heading to the seventh. Thomas Burns is still on the mound for Texas.
