  1. Tulo is valuable to the staff and program for his help with the middle infielders and the mental approach to the game as much as anything else. Schloss has plenty of championship-caliber offenses in his career. Last year, the main problem was a lack of pitching depth. The pitchers got stretched beyond their means when Spencer went down.
  2. Another three up, three down inning for Volantis.
  3. Tinney looks at two breaking balls and then check swings at a third. Texas leaves the bases loaded for the second inning in a row.
  4. Robbins' liner back up the middle snagged behind second base. Bases still juiced, this time with two outs for Tinney.
  5. ARod draws a four-pitch walk. They're loaded again, this time for Aiden Robbins.
  6. Doza does his job. A fly ball to center brings Becerra home and moves Pack to third. It's a 1-0 lead for the Longhorns. Texas has first and third with one out for Rodriguez.
  7. The call stands. Bases loaded with nobody out for Mendoza.
  8. Not sure we've got a curfew for this game, but it'll be in play at this rate.
  9. Eli Solem hit Ashton Larson while Larson was attempting to put down a bunt. Texas has the bases loaded with no outs, but we're getting a review.
  10. Hard-hit ball by Pack through the right side. Two on, nobody out with Larson coming up.
  11. Pack just showed bunt. I like speed guys with the ability to bunt from the left side.
  12. Becerra draws the third Texas walk of the game to lead off the bottom of the second.
  13. Thanks to a snag by Borba on a hard-hit liner to first, Volantis avoids getting burned by hitting the second batter of the inning. Borba's unassisted double play gets the game to the bottom the second, still scoreless.
  14. And, of course, his AB ends with a swinging strikeout. Texas leaves the bases loaded in the bottom of the first.
  15. Livingstone came around a hair too early. It was hit far enough (364 feet) and hard enough to get out of here.
  16. Borba works a walk. The bases are loaded with two outs for Josh Livingston. Mound visit for UC Davis.
  17. Carson Tinney with another walk, his sixth of the weekend.
  18. I don't know if Rodriguez was trying to reach on a bunt or if it was a called sacrifice (I doubt it). Either way, Mendoza is in scoring position with one out.
  19. Mendoza smokes a leadoff single to left. 108 mph off the bat.
