  2. Definitely competing and getting most 2nd team RT reps early in camp
  3. Definitely more, and by a decent margin I hear. Because A&M fears Bryson Warren isn't getting eligible I don't blame Pope for picking A&M for that reason.
  4. Great Q Oregon Joe Jonte Newman looked pretty damn good in Saturday's scrimmage Jordan Coleman will also likely rep some
  5. He had a pretty bad hyperextension from what I was told ... he definitely has a bone bruise. Question is if there is any other damage. I had that in hoops my sophomore season from severe hyperextension.
  6. Rodeo Bar opens at 11!!! https://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=Day+Drinking+Bars&find_loc=Dallas%2C+TX&dd_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F
  7. Just to clarify ... He hyperextended his knee when attempting to make contact. It was during the contact part of the play, but non-contact injury right before the contact would have occurred. He was arms extended.
  8. MRI results should be known around noon, or in that area code
  9. My latest... ***10:30am: Gerry was told that Trevor Goosby has already undergone the MRI this morning. And now awaiting results.
  10. Added more on how the injury occurred at top of the thread.
  11. Jonah was another one. Agree 100%. He’s too talented not to end up helping this team win in some way
  12. They tried, as did OU
  13. One needs to be Kade Phillips IMO and Justin Cryer would be another for me.

  15. Difference ... Pope didn't have a Texas choice. Nor did Weaver (went to UH). Texas moved on from each of those guys after the season. Even when it became apparent they may have possibility to get another year... Texas wouldn't have made that move.
  16. That was a very excited Coach Sark on Siani. Obvious, he's gone beyond what they expected. Need 5-6 players like this on every team, every year to help maximize
  17. NCAA is after a stay by Aug 22 that would, yes. Not sure what the odds are they win it Tenth circuit appellate court has seen some NCAA victories.
  18. Yep. Had mentioned on a couple of threads it was likely. 1. It will be interesting if Texas A&M doesn't believe Bryson Warren will be eligible. 2. If I were Pope, would have gone to SMU. Much better fit for his game. Asking Pope to pressure guard 94 feet all season will be interesting. 3. He will definitely have some very good, hot games shooting it and help Texas A&M win. 4. All of this if the NCAA doesn't get a stay. 5. Pope's effort to play against Purdue in S16 game with a broken foot will always be one of the best individual efforts by a Texas player I have seen.
  19. Looking forward to seeing all of you guys there Thursday!
  20. SEC teams taking some big hits so far. Rodney Dangerfield, "You've got take care of your health"
