All Gas No Brakes

There’s been a lot of debate, frustration, antagonizing, etc. based on moderators, saying Texas and Sark are “all in” on the portal for the 2026 season. Some posters on the website and on the live shows have some real questions about whether or not Texas is really “all in”. This is the way I see it. I do believe that Texas and Sark are “all in” on the 2026 season. They are being more aggressive with how many players they are pursuing and how much money that will cost them. So to me, they are all in on the 2026 season. Much like a poker player will push all his chips that he has on the table for a hand that he feels confident in. I believe that’s what Sark and Texas is doing. But there are some degenerate gamblers out there that will not only push in all the chips they have available on the table, but they will also bet their house, cars, jewelry, shirt off their back, and their first born child with that exact same hand. Those are the degenerates that keep posting about Texas NOT being all in. So two things can be true at the same time. Can Texas be all in on the 2026 season and still be financially responsible without wagering or leveraging their fortune and their future? YES! And that what the moderators keep saying. So stop questioning whether or not Texas is all in on 2026, because they are. Just because they aren’t willing to make financially irresponsible decisions that could affect future teams and future decisions doesn’t mean they aren’t. They are playing the hand they have been dealt with chips they have on the table. If you feel like they need to wager more than that, then feel free to hand over the deed to your home and your cars. Because paying 25-50% over other offers just because you can is not a sustainable model for the long term for Texas nor for college football in general. Just my two cents. Hook ‘em 🤘🏼

How many “serious studs” that have entered the transfer portal have signed with other teams in positions that we needed to fill? Outside of the players we are pursuing, there aren’t many players out there that are better than what we already have.

I just think you’re looking at it all wrong. There’s not gonna be an announcement by every single player who is returning. Most guys are locked in and don’t need to make a public announcement that they’ve resigned with Texas or that they are returning next year. And when you say things like Sark and staff are barely doing anything to fill up the roster for next year, it just makes you sound disconnected from what’s actually going on.

In addition to what another poster already highlighted for you, he actually never entered the portal. He just made his desire to enter the portal known. But with the recent staff changes (Muschamp and Gideon) he is obviously reconsidering. So I think it’s just a unique set of circumstances.

Are they as obnoxious in real life as they are in the commercials?!? I hope they don’t always talk like that 😂

Maybe we just disagree on what constitutes being on the wrong side of the law. If this happens during a game, it’s a 15 yard personal foul penalty. But if it happens in the handshake line, it’s assault and he should be arrested?

I am aware of the situation. I just find it highly unlikely that we’d be calling for the same punishment if it was a Texas football commit.

I had an unexpected family situation come up, so I won’t be able to attend the game this weekend. Trying to sell my 2 tickets last minute here, not sure if it’s allowed. My tickets are in section 2 row 44 with seatbacks. Looking to get $200 for the pair, just trying to get my money back. Sections 2 is in the lower bowl close to the south end zone.
