Tech is a burgeoning football program cause Cody is pumping tons of money into the program, not because Joey is an elite college coach or because the AD is a great leader.

    It’s not like they are cutting off his right hand so that he can no longer play football. He ruined the remainder of his college career (potentially) but he has not ruined his life. Either way he will still have an opportunity to pursue his dream of playing in the NFL. The bigger question is which outcome would be more beneficial to him beating his addiction? I would say he would learn his lesson and beat his gambling addiction if he is punished accordingly. If he is granted the injunction and allowed to play, if he really learning a lesson?

    One of my pet peeves is when people make very generalized, sweeping statements that classify each and every individual the exact same way based on one factor alone. Is money/NIL a factor in transferring? Yes. But can the players also be appreciative and respectful on their way out? Yes. Two things can exist at once, it doesn’t always have to be one or the other.
